I just started vaping for real, this time. I tried the V2 in the past and never really caught on. There wasn't enough of a throat hit or niccotine for me. I still wanted a cigarette, especially when I was drinking. So, I went back to smoking. This past week, I was in Texas with a friend of mine (on this forum) and he explained to me the joys of vaping. So I tried out a few of the flavors he has and then he took me to a tasting bar at one of the local shops near his house. I made the decision to switch and when I got back home, I started looking and found a starter kit (didn't want to jump in head first with several hundred dollars initially) which came with an eGo C-twist, a CE4, and a charger. Then I bought a 24mg bottle of menthol-flavored juice. I haven't looked back. I also bought a KangerTech Pro Tank 3 and started using that at first. I don't know if it's just me, but that thing is unreliable as hell. I like my CE4 a lot. I plan on experimenting with a few other tanks and then possibly upgrading the battery later on. My friend was right: he told me it would turn into a hobby. One week in, and I see what he meant. Anyway, I look forward to reading up on all the latest and posting what I find as well. Thanks in advance for all of the good information.

P.S.: K, if you see this and know it's me, post up a reply. Let them know who got me hooked.

Catching the hobbyist bug already eh? I bit me hard when I started and I was on this forum day and night to the point of starting RBA's and DIY after 2 months of vaping

If you have any questions feel free to ask them and we will try to give you accurate answers

congrats

Welcome. I shared part of your experiment route in that I found myself using CE4s for a while. Then went to the Protank. Now I'm using the T3s Screen Shot 2014-01-10 at 12.14.03 PM.jpg

They gurgle if they get less than 1/3rd full, but other than that they've been reliable. Best of luck in your adventures in hardware experimentation.

I started with CE4's and a 1100mwh battery. Probably bought too many CE4's since I too discovered and really like the T3. Ultimately I will migrate to only the T3's.

In the meantime, they come in handy as I share some juice with a friend. Having the extra atty's make it easier to give or take a small sample. This way, I can get some time to test taste the flavor over a few hours - instead of the 3 quick puffs in a storefront. My friends like the free atty, too.

I do like the T3's with their replaceable parts.

I knew you'd get hooked. :)

I still think the issue you're having with your ProTank is weird, but my ProTank2's are pretty high maintenance, so it doesn't really surprise me. Either way, it may just not be the tank for you. When I finally pick one up, I'll give you some feedback on it.

Anyhow, welcome to the forum, and more importantly, the lifestyle. :toast:
