Making the most volumous clouds is a combination of several factors:

Coils, Wicks, and Vapor Production:
Vapor production comes from a combination of net coil surface area, wicking and juice type, air flow... and the wattage necessary to heat that net coil surface area. If you're lacking in any of those areas, you'll come up short.

Just a few basic points, for your consideration... some IMO, some incontrovertible fact.

  • The gauge of wire and overall length of that wire is what determines resistance. Coil count is irrelevant.

  • Thicker gauge wire, for a given net resistance, where the finished coil(s) physically fits in the atomizer, provides the greatest surface area.

  • Thicker wire, for a given net resistance, runs cooler than thinner wire, for a fixed wattage value.

  • For a given net resistance, thicker wire requires more wattage to obtain the same heat flux (coil radiant heat) as thinner wire. Thinner wire, although it reduces surface area, can be used to raise heat flux where adjustable wattage (mech mod) is not an option.

  • Higher wattage, for a given net resistance, produces more heat, and requires both better air flow and optimized wicking.

  • "In-coil" wicking that is "loose" vs. "tight" is almost always a better choice, as overly tight fits can choke off the capillary action of the wicking medium.

  • Plain old cotton balls can be "unrolled" perpendicular to the grain, to produce a flat strip of cotton.

  • Always roll cotton wick in parallel with the cotton "grain".

  • In an RDA, high VG juice will produce thicker "cloud" density.

That's a nice looking mod...3 battery's...WOW!
I am fortunate to have recently been gifted a RX200. I'm certainly no cloud chaser as I rarely vape over 30 watts, but the three LG HG2 3000mah batteries I'm using really give a lot of battery time between charges. They are currently on their fourth day running.

+1 on the RX too! But if you're cloud chasing your batt. life should be about 1 to 1&1/2 days! I get a full day even vaping at 100w! Welcome to ECF! Enjoy this thing we call vaping!

The RX 200 is indeed a fantastic and affordable mod when compared to the price of the DNA 200 version about $100 dearer. The TVF 4.2 likewise is a great tank but a real Juice drinker. I run the RX 200 with either a Griffin RBA or the Uwell Crown tank which are more economical on Juice. I have also loaded my old aspire tank with the Ni200 TC coils ceramic which came with my Vapresso...I was surprised to find they fit. The ceramic coils. IMHO is the way to go.

I'm not really sure how to get the supplys for diy e juice and I don't have the best setting for a diy lab I have 2 kids so that makes it difficult to do that for me or I would.

in the US there are plenty of options (have a look or a search on DIY) im sure others from your part of the globe will step up with loads of options if you ask :)

and kids i have 4, 2 older and 2 younger and yes one has to be carefull, just like you g-have to be carefull with houshold cleaning products and guns.

and you don't need a lab. a safe place to store and a clean surface like a desk or a kitchen table are enough. i would advice to wait until the kids are asleep or at school ... so you can keep your mind to it. But its not difficult.

if you want to know more, have a look in the juices DIY section
DIY E-Liquid

and ask away :)

Now I'm getting rather jealous of the set ups everyone has  Modding is so expensive in South Africa and I am definitely a cloud chaser so I am trying to get some decent smoke from an eGo 1100 and CE4 Clearo. Gonna pop to a local vape shop after work cause I did all my buying online, hoping the guys there can help me out with understanding everything!

Your best bet is online it is probably going to be less expensive for you that way. You get some really good deals online.
Shipping may be the problem! I went to order some 30ml silicone bottle holders yesterday from a place in china, cheapest place I found, they were going to charge me $16 shipping on my $5 order!
