Hi All, so I've been vaping perhaps almost a month now and made it a goal of mine to kick the analogs completely within 6 months. I wanted to make this commitment to myself rather than go cold turkey because of how I now it will affect my day to day life. I have had my ups and downs this past month where I have my good days and my bad days. I have been a smoker for approximately 10 years never exceeding over 3/4 a pack a day. Ever since vaping I have started noticing that some days I don't need them throughout the day. I have gone down to about 4 a day at most right now. I have heard that it's best to either go with either the ecig or the analogs, but don't do both. I'm just wondering if there was a reason to this next to still have the craving for an analog.

My current set up for my ecig is a EVOD 1000 mAH battery with a Mini Protank 2. I love the drip tip I got recently and decided to pay a bit more because I was so called supporting a local artist...($20 yeah I know it's a lot but I love supporting the local community here.)

I'm thinking about eventually getting a mod and my local vape store told me a good one to start off with be the SVD. Pretty obvious since I know that is the only mod that they carry. Also, I'm not really happy with their juice and I like to see more vapor when I'm blowing out. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks in advance! I'm looking to converse with you all! Find my set up attached to this post!

Stay with it! You'll get the hang of it in no time! The SVD is a great mod. I own one myself. If your not happy with the juice of a local store, no worries there is a world of options online! Let me recommended Alien Visions Bobas Bounty. If your still needing a tobacco fix, that's what you need. Or also I can recommended Heathers Heavenly Vapes RY4. Don't give up! You found the answer! It won't be anytime before your not needing tobacco flavors at all and looking for flavors such as Peach :) your going to love vapeing! Best of luck to ya!

Believe it or not I have been vaping strictly just the fruit flavours already! Some of them are delicious. I'm currently vaping on Kiwi and Mango with 18mg of Nicotine. I understand PG is what gives the kick, I haven't really tried to vape the juices without it. I heard the kick isn't as hard?

Welcome to ECF, Vapeing and smoking (if needed) is ok don't worry, many here still need the odd analog in their daily routine.

Don't be hard on yourself, Vape sip Vape sip Vape sip (water) so u don't dehydrate, get another battery as a backup.

SVD, Vamo, Zmax, are good starter mods, many others s well there are no bad selections.

Look around read learn, lots of info here, feel free to ask if u wish.

Vape On!

Awesome thanks for the tips. I'm also wondering if I should change the coils soon. I'm beginning to get a mixture of flavour and I'm not sure if it's just the juice or if it's actually me using the same couple tanks when vaping different flavours...

I do have 2 Mini Protank 2's...not sure if i should switch coils everytime I vape a new flavour or not?

It's going to depend on the juice. I can share same tank and coil head with a couple compatible juices. Not so with a few others. One is so stubborn, I keep a tank/coil just for that juice. If not, that flavor just never goes away.

Good luck

There is a moment which quite a lot of UK vapers talk about in their testimony.

It's a "leap of faith moment" when they say enough is enough with the dual fueling. For some it's within days. For me, it was 2 months. For others it's much longer.

Do it when you are ready and you feel positive your hardware is up to the job. I could never have taken even a shuffle of faith with the first 2 cig-a-like kits I purchased. There are no rights or wrongs, but remain positive the best you can. :)

Thanks for the feedback guys. I had to go back to the analogs for a week or two as both my vapes broke and I didn't have time to get a kit. I recently got back on the vapes again, and I'm back on track. I haven't had more than 1 - 2 cigarettes a day so it's definitely been helping. I'm thinking of getting a mod eventually as I'm starting to experiment with juices a bit more. Any that you could suggest? I'm thinking of taking the plunge in the next couple of weeks.

Any articles or links of why and the benefits of a mod would be extremely helpful / awesome!

For me, (and bare in mind it's only been about 9 days now, but I decided that last Tuesday was my quit day, and just stuck to the vape and didn't buy any analogs when I ran out. I had one left, which I smoked when I woke up at 8am that day, and haven't looked back. After a week of 18mg cig-a-likes, I decided to try an analogue just to see what would happen and it tasted like crap, and I got totally stoned, and almost puked. Felt like I was 11, smoking my first cig again! This after about 30 years of regular smoking!

I'd say try a day without the analogues when your current pack runs out. I don't even miss them anymore. After more unsuccessful quitting attempts than I can count, I think I've finally done it!

Congrats on the huge feat! I work in a sales job and I know it's not an excuse. However, I have a few co-workers that I hangout with when we are taking a break that smoke. I am quite proud of myself actually considering I only had 2 analogs today. On Sunday I didn't have one. I 'm thinking of picking up an MVP 2 midweek next week. I'm pretty sure that this will be my turning point and make be a bit more committed. I'm pretty excited as when I had my analog today I couldn't even finish it.
