Last Monday, 11/22/10, I got my first 902 from Modern Vapor. I have been trying to quit for years and have never been able to. I have been using it since I got it and I am down from almost 2 pad to 3 analogs a day. Funny thing is, I am not enjoying those analogs at all. :D

I have placed orders for Liquid from FSUSA and Wet Your Stick. I think once I find flavors that I enjoy, it should be easier to put that analog down and never pick it back up. Now I have to find a way to not order so many liquids. I think its becoming its own addiction. Does anyone else have this problem and what do you do with the liquid you really don't like?

Punch it in it's face and put it in my vap box for when I want to vape like i hate myself.

Or, i get new flavors and try and do a ghetto version of DIY'n and mix it up with something i do like.

for instance, i hated redbull on it's own. Then i got some Banana's forest (I know this sounds weird) mixed it together and now i love it.

This is an addicting new hobby and most of us become mailman stalkers after a while. If you come across a juice you just don't like because it doesn't seem to have enough flavor, put it away for a few days and try it again. Some flavors need to "steep" or "age" a little bit. If you still don't like it you can try mixing it with another flavor and create something new and tasty, or you can offer it up in the Pay It Forward sub forum.

Yea I was thinking maybe I would save them and try again later or mix em up. So far out of the liquids I got I only like the RY4. The others seem to have a aftertaste. :(

Remember that you're still smoking, so your taste buds aren't functioning at 100%. Things are going to taste "off" until you've given up the analogs completely for a while. Even then, some of us still go through phases where the taste buds get out of whack, but eventually come back again.

Another thing I have noticed is that while enjoying some of the first e-juices I've ordered, my newer ones have started to change color.. with that I assume the flavors are maturing (this is called steeping). Another thing is that new attys and cartos have a bad taste so make sure you blow them out and give them a few vapes to get clear, and clean them out in-between flavors. Definitely give your taste buds time to regenerate, and give your flavors a week or two and try them again. If you still really hate them, you can always pass them to a friend who is new to vaping or PIF. :)

Congrats on trying to make the switch, it's the best thing you will do for yourself. I thought I would never quit smoking until the day I got my ecig in the mail, analogs were history. It is so true what people say about some ejuices just not tasting right at first but after some time away, they can taste great. I didn't like the Ry4 at first but when I let it rest, I love it.
