Been smoking a pack a day for 20 years. Been researching vaping for about a month now and committed 1 week ago. Decided to buy a SVD from my local B&M and haven't looked back. Just ordered a Provari Mini tonight for better portability and can't wait till it shows up. :)

Smoke free for one week and I also found a new hobby in the process. ;)

I can already tell this is going to be addictive. Still trying to figure out some things like best tanks, how to "easily" swap liquids, and really wanna learn to build my own attys.
I love to tinker with stuff like this and dropping a bad habit in the process is just icing on the cake!

Thanks for the welcome!

Hi, Welcome to ECF. It has definitely become a great hobby for me. Loving it. Started with a jac vapour starter kit and from there I have evolved to:
- Evod 650 mah
- innoken SVD 18650
- innoken MVP 2.

I use SVD in the house and MVP for outdoor stuff. I'm thinking of getting a provari next month. For now I'm happy. The SVD is a power house.

It will all pay off in the long run. You will save money vaping Analogs cost soo much. At first it seems kinda expensive finding the right set up that fits your needs and wants. To me the most expensive part is finding the right Juice to vape trying all the great vendors and such. Just wait until you discover RDAs and building your own coils to get teh best flavor out of your juice.

I really like the SVD, it just to big to carry in my pocket. That is why I got the mini on the way, to carry at work. Use SVD at home. :)

Wife is not going to be happy when she realizes I have found ANOTHER hobby that cost money. He he

I know what your saying dude. I have many expensive hobbies. I'm looking into building my own drip tips using polymer clay next. In hopes to sell them on ebay to make some money back. Probably a long shot but I have these crazes now and then lol.

Welcome to the forum & congrats on your first week of being smoke free!:toast:
This can certainly become a costly hobby but the way I look as it is that I spent $50 a week on smoking & this is wayyyy better!! Figuring out what juice you like and what topper to use is probably the toughest after picking your ideal mod or mods's lol.

Check out IBTanked. Cartotanks are the best vape on my Provari IMHO. I like the 22mm tanks with a beauty ring...and the 19mm tanks without a beauty ring on the Provari.

so what kind of a run are we talkin' bout here? 6 months, a year, 2 years? health wise i'm already there. addiction to spending money online on vaping gear.......now that's a completely different story. i've been looking in strictly high end gear for 2 days and nothing is winking at me.... yet... guess i'll just keep looking :D

I will check out IBTanked. Curious as to what is better about cartotanks? I have not used one.

welcome bri315317 ... don't be surprised if that Provari mini causes the SVD to become lonely.

That will be OK. It will be a mighty fine backup IMO. :)

Bought a kayfun lite clone and wire /Cotton. I do believe I am gonna enjoy this hobby / life saver.
