I usually started off with around 10-12 drops in bone stock cartridges. Now I use the auto drip mod for carts when I use them (outside of the house). At home I just drip straight into the atty.

Basic idea is the use about half of the wick material to make a plug and use the cart as a reservoir. I put around 16-18 drops in my cart and cap it off with a bit of the polyfill and it last the better half of a day if I'm not chain vaping and very little wasted juice stuck in the wick material.
