Hi! I'm new to the ecig thing. A couple of friends have them now and they all swear by their brand. I went with the volcano inferno because I'm a sucker for packaging. Unfortunately, it's so confusing. I was told to get the drip tip, but wasn't sure if I needed to buy a separate tip in addition to the starter kit... I ended buying the following:
The Inferno Kit
Volcano and Cisco Atty Drip Tips
V-Liquid

Is this all I need or do I need to buy other stuff? Thanks!

Sounds like a good first order. That should be all you need to get yourself started. In the near future, you might want to order a couple of extra attys (they can be unpredictable and go *snap* just like that.) Also, I'd buy several small (3 or 5ml) bottles of different flavors of e-juice in varying nic strengths: 12mg, 18mg, 24mg. You need to see what different flavors you like and what nicotine strength it will take to keep the cravings away. Overall, this looks like a great start....hope you love it.

Hi and welcome to ECF. How much juice did you buy? Most of us go through about 2 to 3 ml per day so you need to order enough to hold you for around a week minimum. Did you order manual batteries or auto's? If they're auto's using a drip tip takes a bit more care in order not to flood it and kill your battery. As JCnewbie says, you might want to order a couple of extra atomizers, they do need to be replaced once in a while and NuB's tend to kill them more often at first.

the Inferno is the same thing as an ego as far as I can tell I have been vaping for a few months and have learned that the same products have multiple names . I use an Ego & a Riva they look and operate the same in fact the parts interchange without problems. I ordered extra Attys when I started and switch up every couple days and clean regularly here is a link to how to clean an atty

I have not had an atty not work yet I bought five LR510 attys in Oct. tested two and put them away and have been using the other three since. Hope this helps

Grats on making it to ECF and welcome aboard...

your pretty much set up. if you find dripping messy at times.

these are great additions to your Inferno Kit...Inferno Tank-o-mizer...and it will match the color of your Inferno Battery...except for Pink color..for a hands free experience, great for on the road activities :)

INFERNO - Tank-o-mizer
(atomizer)

INFERNO - Blank Tanks
(cartridges that you can refill/re-usable and place in your inferno tankomizer)

Thank you so much everyone! I will definitely be ordering more liquid. I actually don't know if the battery is automatic or manual... i completely forgot to check. Does anyone know if the inferno starter kit is manual or auto? i think i would prefer manual though.. I guess we'll see.

I bought 2 15ML e-liquids and I will definitely buy more atomizers. I'm trying to find a good site for the bottles of flavor. Still looking around.

Are the tank-o-mizers specifically or cartridges?
What's the difference between the cisco and the magma atomizer?

Thanks again for so many responses!

Inferno batteries are manual... both of them.. I think folks are mistaking the Inferno Kits with Volcano Kits or Magma Kits (looks like penstyled)

Cisco atomizers = stronger Throat hits, I think vapemate can work with it, Im not sure if SuperT made them yet, but you scan ECF for a DIY adapter for the 306's ... if your into that.

Magma atomizers = well balanced, more choices with types of drip tips, and other accessories like the Vapemate

both atomizer styles are great.

Tankomizers are specifically for the cartridges vs dripping (theres a long needle like post in the Tankomizer atomizer that punctures the bottom of the cartridges when you connect to the Tankomizer), you fill up the carts with attached mouth piece, and plug it into the Tankomizer...

The tankomizer doesn't include the cartridge, you have to buy the tankomizer blank carts as well, if im not mistaken.

If you decide to get the Tank-o-miser , try out blank Tankomizer cartridges (carts) the transparent color types, as you will be able to see how much ejuice is in the cart without having to pull the cart out to check.

If you dont care then black.. its solid black, you have to pull out the cart to check the ejuice levels.

the blank tankomizer carts have the mouth piece attach to the refillable carts as one unit.

If your very first e cig kit was THAT..Im sorry. Its a good product, but a little advanced if its your first. Ill simply hope your friends have a little experience with such models to help guide you. IF NOT, your next step should be you tube, and looking up the keywords. "volcano e cig".."510 drip tips"..."cisco atomiser". But your kit should have come with cartridges that you can easily use and fill. Set that drip tip asside for a minute, and focus on one beast at a time. Or feel free to message me any questions personally.

Fortunately, there are two friends who can help me and I'll check out youtube. If I run into any further trouble, you'll be hearing from me.

Kris be right...Those inferno's are incomplete kits, and a sorry excuse. So, OP, good choice in the tip, cause youll need it. But you got the goods to at least drip..kind of a pain, but great flavor and vapor. I cant for the life of me understand why any company would sell a kit, in an incomplete fashion like that. I'd send them an email, but I assume they get tons. Just kind of stunned at the lack of common sense they have shown......to each their own I guess.

Hi and welcome! As you notice we are enablers :)

Good choice!

You could try some juices from elsewhere - so many good ones. Don't go too wild though until you make sure your chosen nicotine level is right for you. If the juices you got are 100% PG (often sold by mainly-hardware companies) then those can be a bit harsh on the tongue and throat. Try some juice around 70pg/30vg and see how you like that - PG lets through more TH and VG smoothes the TH some and adds more vapor. So 50/50 would be less hit and more vapor, 80pg/20vg would be more hit and less vapor. (hit as in the throat harshness of nicotine)

My favorite vendors are Backwoods Brew and FreedomSmokeUSA, plus Velvet Vapors for a couple I love (including Raspberry Ginger Ale)
