Hello, recently I started vaping to quit smoking. I've been enjoying the technical side of things that gives me something to fiddle with as well as the fact that I'm getting my nic fix. I've got a reasonable background in electronics and the like so I went almost straight to mechs. I've got a problem though, I bought a cheap nemesis clone from a local vape shop. The threads on this mod have given up on me in only the first week or so of use. Into the trash it goes. Now I'm in the market for another mod. I was wondering if the more experienced vapers could help me figure out a new one to get. I would like something in the sub $100 range that is authentic with good thread tolerance. It doesn't need alot of fancy features or strange configurations. Preferably something in 18650 since those are the only batteries that I currently own. Anyways, I'm excited to be a part of this forum now, and appreciate the knowledge base here. Just wanted to say hello and see if I could get some help on that. Thank you all!

Welcome to ECF, Jay.

If you are seeking another mech mod, I highly suggest that you take a look at the Super T manufacturing site.

David is a forum vendor, here. At your price point, he has what you may be looking for. American made and a lifetime warranty.
Yep Super T Precision Workhorse-$70

Although I did see they are out of stock on the website.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

Sorry about your Nemmie.:( I've got a HCigar Nemmie clone and the threads are wonderful. Out of curiosity, who made your clone?

Honestly, I was in a hurry when I got it. The gentleman that sold it to me gave me the one that he had in his display case without a box or anything. Judging by the mod I would say it was made by someone with a rock and chisel hahaha. Although, that hasn't really turned me off or anything. I kind of expect clone quality to be really hit or miss.

As far as I can tell, the nemesis seems to be an uncommon size thread;

I was happy to discover when I got my chiyou it uses the same thread as my vamo and sigelei zmax; M21x1.

Welcome jay! Everyone should have a $40 MVP2. The $70 itaste VTR is very cool looking with clearomizers that fit. Maybe a Segelli 30W tube mod (less than $100). There are a few very good DNA clone mods for $40-70$.

I use a couple of 22-23mm rba's, will they fit on the mvp2? I've actually been looking at vv/vw and they look amazing.

On another note, can someone explain how to quote multiple replies in one message?

I wanted to reply about the super-t but this is going to get long quick hahaha. Thank you all for the replies, this is an absolutely excellent forum.

EDIT: What I mean about the rbas that I use is not the 510 connection but the diameter of the body of the rbas. Is 22 or 23mm too big for the MVP2?

No helpful opinions on mechs but as fer multi quote....

At the bottom right corner of each post you see the "Reply with Quote"
To the right of those words you see a balloon with quote marks in it and a plus symbol next to it. That is the multi qoute dilly-bob.
