Well, you're in for quite a journey, my friend. I absolutely love it. I'm traveling for business this week and here's a pic of my "traveling kit". Yeah....I've got it bad...:toast:

Yeah I was a smoker and still smoking , just desperate to get on to vaping to pack the habit in, so glad I joined the forum

dont worry about quitting right off. If you can, great, but dont beat your self up about it if you dont. many people dual use for a while. It also helps curb the withdrawal symtoms from all the other stuff that are in cigarettes. Once you do quit most people say your taste returns some time between a month and three, along with that comes with improved lung function and other benefits :)

umm.. Over kill :p
For a week trip I take 2 mods, 120ml of juice (30 ml bottles, I like to switch flavors). I have an altoid can with my rebuild supplies, with that I bring an ohm reader.

I've been vaping for over a year and I am still mystified by all the ohms, volts and wattage mubo-jumbo. It's mostly gibberish to me, though I vaguely understand the concepts thanks to finding this forum about a year ago. I'm not going to apologize for my ignorance because I've found what I like and what's working for me! So here's what I have for gadgetry -- an iTaste 3.0 vv battery and JustFog Maxi 1453 cartomizers, for which I make my own replacement coils and wicks. It's not the heavy, deep vaping apparatus but it's easy to adjust the voltage and wattage; it's very light, small and girly, and relatively inexpensive. I've had to buy four of these battery units because I've lost them, never broken! So if you're looking to eventually quit, this combined unit is simple and easy. I've never slid back into analogs using this setup.

As for liquids, I like Space Jam! I don't find it weak at all. As a matter of fact, I'm puffing on Andromeda right now. I also have Spaceship 1 when I'm in the mood for cotton candy. I also have juices from several boutiques as well. There are some really good flavors out there, I'm just not sure I'm allowed to make recommendations here. I advise finding some friends who vape and trying out what they have. Some truly ARE stronger flavored than others. Or if you can find a store where they let you sample first, you're set! I've already gone down in nicotine strength from 24 to 18 and now am at 12. I have detected no difference in taste whatsoever when going down in nicotine strength.

I saw someone mention earlier that there is such as thing as "vape mouth" and I have to admit, that DOES happen. I never knew it had been quantified! So are you constantly puffing on your offending flavor? In my experience any juice will seem to lose flavor when you overdo it which is why I always have at least two gadgets going with different but complimentary flavors. Besides, I get tired of the same flavor puff after puff. You'll find what works for you. And unless expense is a VERY big deal, don't be afraid to experiment. Ask questions and keep reading this forum. Vaping is truly a great adventure and well worth the switch! Your taste buds will thank you! :vapor:
