hello i am new to vaping, my goal with vaping is to replace cigarettes.

yesterday i picked up a Joyetech Evic VTC mini and i'm already having issues. juice is leaking out of the air holes and getting into the tip as well. is this a common problem? how can i fix it? also, what are ideal settings for this vape (nickel/ti)?

sorry if i'm posting in the wrong forum. very new to everything vape related. thanks

The eVic VT mini (or whatever it is called) is a nice little mod getting lots of attention.

Joyetech are not the best when it comes to tanks. It took pressure from vapers all over the world to get them to even consider upgrading from the pre-historic junk they were selling 2 or 3 years after it had already become 'old tech'

Some folk love the new tanks. I would rather chew my arm off. :nah:

eGO ONE Mega (the one that came with it)

thanks for quick reply
It may be a bad tank. It could also be the coil is not properly seated in the tank, or missing an o-ring or something. Or maybe just a bad coils with too little wick in it so the juice is flowing through. Disassemble the tank and check that stuff.

the nickel coin they installed at the shop was indeed missing an o-ring. i've installed the titanium one with 2 rings (and switched the settings) and it seems to have fixed the problem. thanks dude.

can anybody recommend ideal settings for my mod using a TI coil? also, what do you guys recommend as the better coil?

I use ego one tanks often. I use the clr coils in wattage mode. They have this tendency with me to give off a blurb of liquid on occasion. In my case, I think it kind of builds up over time in the base, either liquid or condensation, and then blurbs our if I tip it to one side.

Like @suprtrkr said, check to see if the coil is seated, or switch out the coil.

I have three eGo One Mega tanks and they all leak. Everyone that owns one seems to have the same problem. Mine got a little better when I rebuild a couple coils but they still leak. My wife loves them tanks so I wipe it down a lot to get rid of the juice on the mod. I am just glad she moved on from the Kanger Mini 's on a 20 watt Istick. CHEERS!
