My kit should be coming in the mail tomorrow. (been tracking it like a dope fiend all the way from China) definitely looking forward to switching over but I do have some questions.

Does the vapor that is expelled have a strong, weak, or no odor?

I'm a pack a day smoker of mentols. I bought a bottle of menthol juice. With vaping, did you find it easier to switch to different flavors? It's just that when we get our 'brand' we kind of stick with it. Flavored tobacco cigs taste awful...all of them. Vanilla, cherry, grape, whatever. I'm assuming that with vaping, these same flavors might actually become enjoyable as a smoke.

Getting the Joye510. Do I just unpack, assemble, and puff away? Do I have to do a pre smoke ritual with the atomizer or anything?

I don't think there is an odor, but some folks have said that those around them smell something...probably depends on the juice itself, I would think.

I was a menthol smoker too...but have I don't like the menthol juices (although they come in handy when you have a cold and can't taste anything). I've avoided any fruity flavors as they just don't appeal to me. I love RY3 and FY4 plus flue-cured.

Your 510 may come pre-charged...you can give one a try to see...but I let mine charge according to the included directions. Yes, there is kind of a ritual...take quick puffs but don't inhale to get the primer taste out. Some people clean them and then re-prime with juice. Oh, and I don't think anyone has stated liking the pre-filled carts that come with the kit. I used them though rather than wasting the juice.

So far the only juice people really comment on is the RY4 flavor (a sweet tobacco/caramel flavor) To some it's a raspberry scent, to others it's cotton candy, but to hubby it's pipe tobacco) Sometimes people say hmmm cherry! Or who's eating butterscothch? No one has complained!:)

I smoked menthol for 37 years, I still have mint/menthol/spearmint juices I enjoy, but I really love the fruit flavors! I also like Chocolate, RY4, Butterscotch and coffee! Think of your juice as a candy flavor, not a cigarette flavor..there is no comparision!

You will need several flavors! You will get tired of anything if you vape it day in and day out..again there is no comparision to smoking. Everyone at first thinks they want a "just like" what I used to smoke in flavor, size and color! We were all wrong! The choice's are amazing and all the flavors are wonderful.:p

First thing to do is CHARGE THE BATT! try to let it charge for as long as it says..even if they are wrong! That way if it goes bad in the first week or so, you will know it wasn't you!
Then read your booklet..done? Yeah, they don't tell you anything, spend your wait reading on here. All the threads at the top of the new comers page. Good stuff! Then assemble and fill the cart..or try the prefilled and VAPE! Come back and tell us what you think.
Welcome to ECF!:D

Good question. First and foremost charge the battery, just plug it in and be patient. While it's charging that would be a good time to prime the atomizers by dripping some juice on them now. That should help eliminate the nasty metallic or whatever taste you can get from a new atomizer that is dry. It may take a day of use for the 510 to get broke in, you will get good hits but you will really see the difference once it's broke in properly.

They just came in the mail. Read the directions. Plugged one of the batteries in. Couldn't wait so I assembled one and took a hit. Not bad. Not good either. I can deal with Marlboro flavor for now (has a fruity after taste). I know I gotta break it in a little, so I'm not trippin right off the bat. Not getting any metallic or burnt taste at all.

Initial vapor was medium to low. Long suck gave a throat hit, i guess. Coughed.

Lets say I want to switch over to my e-liquid flavor now. Should I just rinse out the cartridge, or just add my flavor over the already wet filler?
