Well i bought the triton halo and it works really well. I don't have any issues with the tanks no leakage ect.. Only problem with halo they are not universal with other batteries and tanks,so that limits your flexability and you have to order replacements from their website. my advice is don't look for the cheapest. Even with my triton I'm always looking at other wondering if they are better. They have some really cool designed ones now. I try to look at reviews to help decide. i look forward to some reply on here too and if anyone can compare other with the triton.

If you tell us more on what you are looking to accomplish with vaping we can better guide you. There are about 63536515165456 choices out there and we can narrow it down some if we know what you want from a device.

Thanks Creepy. I just want something cool, so I can hang out with my college friends. I don't really know much about the whole thing. So far I really care about design and quality.

Hi all,

I've never smoked or vaped but I want to try. Do you have any brand recommendations?

Really appreciate that!

Seeing as how you don't smoke, or vape, I don't think it matters what you get. Anything will produce vapor, get what looks good to you and learn how to use it. You'll only be happy if it looks cool to you and your friends. So what if it doesn't give you good nicotine delivery. Your not looking for that anyway.

Thanks bro!

i started vaping to quit smoking with an ego starter kit, was cheap and allowed me to try different tank types as my knowledge was growing. now i am using a vamo v3 with kanger protank 3. the vamo is pretty durable and in a pinch you could use it to defend yourself. my son thinks it looks like a lightsaber, which makes me laugh. my wife wasnt a smoker but she has an ego-t battery with a smok rbc tank that she vapes 0 nic cinnamon out of. if size if an issue ego starter kits are nice you can get lanyards for them. the vamo in "Tough mode", check out my post titled 'Vamo Question' for a picture, is to big for a lanyard but fits in a pocket or could be hung from a belt clip.

Oh my. I'm much older, so I didn't think the younger generation (of adult age) still did smoking or vaping to be cool :?:. But to each their own. Many will say NO, not a good idea. But you are of adult age (yes? Otherwise, please exit this forum discreetly, ty), so you can make adult choices.

That said, the advice to only use non-nicotine (0 mg/ml strength) liquids is wise. Nicotine dependency/addiction (not gonna argue semantics vs. the difference) is REAL, and it sucks. The very vast majority (99.999% I'd bet) of members here have switched to vaping to reduce/eliminate their nicotine/cigarette dependency. Thousands of us here (and millions out IRL) know what we're talking about when we urge "never smokers" to soul search the reasons why they want to vape. If you still want to try it, please, please use 0 nicotine. Still the same quality of vapor produced, same flavor as if it had the nicotine.
