Hi guys,

Wow, E-cigarettes have saved me, my girlfriend is giving birth in a few weeks and had to quit (30 a day habit. ..)

It's been easy to switch, E-cigarettes are so much nicer and Ican breath!

I've bought this: E-sigaret PIPELINE EVOLUTION met EVOD clearomizer

I was wondering what people recommend. Money isn't an issue as I'm saving a fortune not smoking normal cigarettes.

Any good mods or accessories worth getting?

I've seen the provari and neo banded around. Why are these so popular and expensive? I saw the joyetinech evic in the same shop Ibought mine from and iit's huge, I like the size of mine.

As for e-liquid any recommendations that ship internationally? Again I'm not bothered about cost just good quality.

Thanks

Duncan

I 100% recommend the MVP V2. It is a great setup that I have truly enjoyed, and a huge step up from the ego style batteries. They are also running a deal for about $40 right now which should give you plenty of money left to buy juice and accessories! I use a Protank 2, but there are other great options as far a topper goes. I am sure you will get plenty of feedback from other members, but there's my :2c:
Welcome to ECF! I amstill at a loss as to why the Provari is so expensive. But from what I have read it is built like a tank!

Thanks for the quick replies. In real world terms how big is the provari? Is it much bigger than my current setup?

How big is the mvp v2? I'd like something that will fit easily in my pocket. Is being able to change the voltage that important?

A Provari (using the largest battery - 18650) is 4.75" (120mm) tall x 0.9" (23mm) wide.

While I understand you want something to fit nicely in your pocket, you will gladly sacrifice that convenience for something that vapes good. Most of us go through that same exercise.

Here Here! I started out trying to be discrete and keep things convenient in my vaping endeavors. Now I have changed my plan to hiding myself behind a cloud of tasty vapor with my device being the size of a backpack!!!

Hi Duncan. :)

How on earth did you end up buying a double evod kit from such a weird website?

Anyhow, if you want "not-too-big" then look into Vision Spinners and/or Innokin iTasteVV. I can't do links just now, but there are plenty of good deals around. Target price on Spinner is now £20 approx.

As for mods - I can certainly advise. I've owned a few. The Provari is the top dog unless you want to get into really high end posh stuff. I am considering getting one in the future, but am happy messing around with cheap stuff. I bought an eVic and it's dead, I'm afraid. I replaced it with something for £35 and whilst not quite as good, serves the same purpose....Vaping! :)

Joyetech do the eVic and the new eMode. Both are *quite* good, but the eMode comes with some well dodgy atomizers and stuff. Trouble also is that once you are up to £100, you may as well buy a Provape.

I put my eVic together from component parts for about £65 back when it came out (RRP £99). You can buy full kits for approx. £65 but, ouch, for a new-ish vaper, I'm not so sure. You could look into Innokin MVP v2 instead. No need for independent batteries and charger with it. Target price has to be £40. Some places are selling kits for £49.99 (even £59.99) - I'm surprised anyone buys them with a 2 minute "Google" effort.

Most Vapers need a few batteries (long-term committed vapers) so I would try a Spinner or iTasteVV. Worst case is, you still buy a mod or a Provari and it's for spare. I mostly use Spinners out and about and some sort of 18650 mod at home. I'm not sure I would be without either.

Dont skimp on the juice, either. Get the good stuff. But dont get super high level nicotine juices; the first stuff I had was 24mg and that meant I could not just vape away all day. Id get overloaded with nicotine lol.

18mg, maybe, or better yet 12 or even lower...folks seem to find a juice they like a lot and then vape a LOT every day. But thats cool, vaping beats the hell out of smoking tobacco.

So indulge and reward yourself. So far I've ordered from 3 places, had 2 of em show up and I'm trying to decide what to try first.

I got stuff from avejuice, Alice in Vapeland, and ahlusion.us ...I just wish I had more tanks. Make sure you have 4-5-6-7 so you can easily swap up and have different juices ready to vape.

Thanks for the great advice. I was just wondering where you would suggest getting a provari mini from? Also are evod kits any good. Reason I got mine from there was because it was driveable from Brussels. Just an hour and a half. You can't get anything decent in Belgium.

Cheers

The provari is a very good product. That being said most mods will be much larger and heavier than what you have now and you will need to decide if that is what you want

I use Vamo's with Protanks for my main devices (yes I have multiples of these) around the house but I normally use a twist with an evod when I am out and about

My 2 cents are decide if you want it to be a hobby and are you going to vape forever (or as long as our governments will allow us) or are you going to use vaping to quit nicotine

I would recommend the higher priced mods if you plan on vaping for a while as the batteries are much cheaper to replace

or to just to try VV to tune your vape you can try this battery

The 1000mAh variable Voltage battery from Joyetech,

which will allow you to use all of your existing equipment

I spent over $1000.00 in the first 2 months of vaping trying different combos (more dollars than sense)

Thx,

I think I'm going to get the provari mini. Does this come with more than one battery?

Also tank recommendations? I'm using a BBC evod (might have got thatwrong) so would like to stick with a clearomiser. Is there a big difference between that and a cartomiser?

Oh, I see now, you were/are not in the UK when you bought the evod kit. :) (apologies...)

Cartomiser vs. Clearomiser is a tough one to call... I use both (I sometimes use Cartomisers in a tank....) but mostly use BCCs. (mini Protanks to be precise)

I would say, if you enjoy the Clearomisers, stick with them.

What can I add? :) :)

All I know is that Jason who owns/runs Vape Escape, when I met him (in the flesh, for real....time to worship) was using a Provari mini and an mini Protank. Out and about, he also uses Spinner batteries.

(So, like me really, except I use a £35 mod not a £160 one)

Maybe you should phone him and ask about a delivery to wherever you are at the moment.

Two years ago, the provari was the only thing in its class..... Now... You can get a good VV ego that can give it a run for its money. It is a lot like the world of smart phones. Millions of choices, and all have great pro's and con's... Just like their are apple fanboys who will only use an iphone, you will find provari fanboys who will only use provari. MVP owners are starting to become a huge entity also. Staying as neutral as I can I would just recommend using whatever helps you stay away from analogs.. that is the reason we are all here right?

Good luck OP!

Greetings and welcome to the forum. If you're totally happy with the kit you've got, then of course you don't need to change it, but more advanced battery types (like the eVic) can provide a better vaping experience, because you can dial in the voltage (or wattage) to taste. Since I got my first variable voltage battery, my basic starter kit eGo batteries like the ones you've got have sat in a drawer (though they might come in handy as a backup down the road, or to lend to someone who wants to try e-cigarettes).

One battery which I think was already mentioned in this thread, the iTaste VV, has advanced features, but is about the same size as what you have now.

The EVOD clearomizer you have seems fairly popular, but there are all kinds of different product designs, and you may well find something that, again, gives you a vaping experience that is more to your taste.

Good luck.

Regards
Glenn

Bottom line: A $39 VAMO provides you the same vape as $160 Provari. In fact, the $39 VAMO gives you Variable Wattage whereas the $160 Provari does not. You can buy 4 VAMOs for the price of one Provari and the VAMO does at least as much or more than the Provari. However, there is one thing the Provari has more than any PV out there...Confidence!!! That is what you are paying for. It is solidly built, you know it will last a long time, and it will fire every time you pick it up.

It can be bought here... https://www.provape.com/

Try the itaste VV V3, I bought one myself, I love it. My friends that have seen me smoke on it have purchased one as well, no complaints. Also you charge it via micro USB, so you can vape and charge at the same time. I didn't want to get a super fancy one because if I drop it, or my cat decides to knock it off the table and run away really quickly, I won't be out 200$ itaste VV v3, trust me you will love it. Also get a protank II or a vivi Nova for your tank, thats all you need buddy, you can pick them up for around 65$ together shipped. cheers

edit: I love the VAMO that Bronze suggested, it's a great vape, but taking the batteries out all the time sucks! what if you have to charge it on the go? the itaste VV V3 in my opinion is a better machine because it has the same features, but it's smaller and I can charge it in my car while I vape. I can also fit it in my pocket just fine, so I can take it out to the bar and vape whenever I want, also when I put it in my pocket it doesn't look like I'm hung like a basketball player :p
