Just wanted to drop in and say hello! I found this site while researching eCigs last week and purchased my first eGo on Friday and haven't had a cigarette since!

Like many I was smoking a pack a day for 20+ years and have tried a few times to quit cold turkey and found myself frustrated and stressed out. My Aunt introduced me to vaping a couple years ago but I never really cared for any of her ejuice flavors and kinda thought of it as a overpriced gimmick but she's been smoke free since then. I also was given a Blu starter kit by my grandmother before she passed away (lung cancer) which I appreciated dearly but didn't care for very much. I figured I'd give it a shot now that the equipment costs seem to be dropping rapidly.

I picked up a Smoktech VV Winder, two Kanger T3S, and a couple 18mg juices from the local cigarette store. The tanks and battery are great so far, was not a fan of the "Exotics" Menthol and Irish Latte flavors. Today I noticed a Vapor Outlet store across the street from Costco and had a great experience with the girl that was working there that let me try a bunch of their "Made in the USA" flavors and settled on Waffles and Carmel Corn that don't have that funky cheap metallic aftertaste that the "Tobacco Outlet" store carried. Also grabbed a Smoktech Aro Tank and I'm much happier!

I'm looking forward to saving money from not smoking and checking out some more of these awesome ejuice vendors I've been reading about! At least now I have a starting point I'm happy with!

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you are really set up for success! You've got some good equipment and juices that you like. Who could ask for anything more!:)

Haven't tried any juice like Waffles, but if you like that, you might like Cinnamon Roll by Mt. Baker Vapor. It's the first juice I really liked when I started about a month and a half ago, and I still like it a lot. Just re-ordered a big bottle in fact.

Again, welcome and happy to have you here.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations! At first trying to find the right flavors is key and takes some work. Some love fruits, desserts, tobaccos. Everyone likes different so try a lot of small samples and don't be surprised if you hate flavors you thought you would love and love flavors you thought you would hate. Good luck and have fun! But yes, it's huge to find even one or two flavors you really love and makes it easier to quit smoking.

Totally agree with you there! I smoked menthol's for a long time and thought for sure I'd prefer a minty menthol style juice but the ones I have tried so far have either made me crave an analog more or taste like Halls Mentho cough drops. I think that I should probably stay away from anything that gives me that craving.

The SmokTech ARO is a glass tank, plus it's got the eGo threading instead of the 510, +++ you off to a good start;

if you're experimenting with different flavours especially good to have a glass tank because some liquids react visibly with some plastics.

Yes, the glass tank may be a reason you don't have an after taste in the new juices. The fact that you've located a local shop is a big plus...take advantage. I have a local shop today that just opened, but when I started, I had to order sample after sample and then some samples until I found some juices I liked. Even if they cost a little more from the local store, you will end up saving money. Good Luck.

Now that I look at it I think the new tank I bought is a Kanger MT3S clone? It's only got two air-holes, plastic drip tip, and it fits the description of the clone ID thread on this site. Either way it vapes good and so far no leaks. I'll keep my eye out for any problems!
