Hi Everyone,

I'm not quite 2 weeks into vaping. I started out with an itaste VV with iClear 16 tanks. I was having issues with the juice coming through my tip and I could feel the peppery taste on my tongue from the juice, so I've switched to the EVODs for bottom coil to keep from having to worry about the wicks drying out, etc. I like what I have for when I'm going to be traveling, but when I'm sitting at home, I would like something with longer battery life etc. Can anyone make any recommendations?

Also, because I'm also new to ECF, I've noticed while I've been reading that some members have a signature of how long they've been tobacco free - as a counter. How can I get something like that at the bottom of my posts, and does it update automatically, or is it something you have to do daily?

Thanks!

I started out with cigalikes then on to an ego then an ego twist. The vamo is a decent starter mod that can take 1 or 2 batteries which make the size bigger or smaller. It has VV or VW. Lots of people here like the iTaste MVP. I went from the Vamo V3 to a Provari. I still use my Vamo quite a bit and you can find em online for about the same price as the MVP. The signature thing only shows up in your account settings once you reach 20 posts I think.....

For sitting at home I use a 'passthrough' device like this:

When paired with an AC-to-USB adapter that can supply 2A of current, it's a nifty little device. They're only $5 from China or $10-15 from US vendors. Plug one in by your PC and/or recliner and you can toot away and not be bothered about charging batteries.

The cigalikes were like sucking air to me - I went right back to smoking cigarettes. It wasn't until a week ago this past Saturday that I found a local place that would allow me to try the set ups to determine which had the best hit for me. At that point they recommended the iTaste VV. It's not so much the battery (because it tends to last me all day), but I want the same hit every time instead of it getting weaker as the day goes on.

Egress,
How would that work for what I currently have? I have a passthrough on my iTaste VV - but I'm thinking I want something stronger.

I'll second the MVP (V2 is VV/VW). Started with cigalikes, then bought an iTaste VV/VW 3 but the battery life just wasn't working for me (2-3 hours max). I get two days on the MVP and can use it as a passthrough if I'm getting low on battery. I haven't tried anything else, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt. The reason I went with another Innokin product was because they make solid devices that are easy to use (with a lot of nice features). Welcome to ECF!

If you like the iTaste VV you are going to absolutely LOVE the iTaste MVP. Exceptionally long battery life!

Welcome to ECF neighbor. :)

Emerald,
I just looked one of those up. I'm wondering why it wasn't recommended to begin with. They don't look much more expensive than what I paid for my iTaste VV.....I may be moving up to that in the next couple of weeks then. It seems like I'm constantly buying juice or clearomizers/tanks at this point in time. I have a tank for every flavor of juice currently which is 7 - but they are the cheaper tanks. I'm about ready to get the pricier ones a couple at a time.

Even with help today in a months time you will want something different !! It takes awhile to find your perfect setup ... I started on a blue cigalike !! Now I have a GP paps lux with a kayfun lite .. Well more than that but you get my point

Papadragon,

I totally understand what you're talking about. It's turned into a more expensive hobby for me here lately! LOL

Sounds like you've solved these problems, but just in case others have issues....

Sometimes new vapers draw too hard: Inhalation technique.

The "peppery" feeling may mean either (a) the nicotine level is too high, try adjusting down a little, or (b) the juice is not wicking fast enough for the amount of power you're using, try turning the voltage down or use a coil with more resistance.

:)

The MPV had a very recent upgrade to version 2.0. It took a while for venders to get the new model in stock.

Much the same here. I bought EVOD clearomizers in every color available and added on a few glassomizers. I just discovered a couple of oddball clearomizers on FastTech that work surprisingly well and are inexpensive, I will be ordering a dozen or so soon.

You are doing well to have found seven flavors you enjoy! :)

I agree with both of you as well , I also started with Blue ecig , then V2 , eGo-C ,then eVic then Provari with different tanks , and I'm now using GG Mechanical Mods , and after two month I do not know what it will be.

For batteries If you want something efficient and dose not cost anything , I found the eGo-C Twist (1000 mah) is good and last for good time.

Actually, Madqatter - the longer I'm hanging out with you all in this group, the more I learn and the more I am enjoying!!! Thank you for this post!

Emerald,
I'll be ordering more flavors! LOL I'm the type that will start with one....and end up switching around to all of them through the day. I work at home. I'm at my desk and can, therefore, I do! hahahaha At least I'm not reaching for an analog anymore! :D
