I just got back from vacation and was pleased to find my vision spinner and oils in the mailbox. I figured this would be a trial and error process but I'm still a little frustrated. here's the problem: I charged the 650 vision spinner battery then i filled up the tank on the side of the cartomizer like the guy in the tube tutorial with oil from vaporchef.com. i did the 5 clicks to turn it on, made sure the light was on when I was trying to vaporize but all i got on my 1st 3 attempts was oil in my mouth and no vapor :(. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and any tip would be appreciated thanks.

how much liquid did you put in the cartomizer? you may have overfilled it (or flooded). if you have.. take it out the battery.. and blow on it with paper tower under it to take the excess fluid thats in the coil chamber out.

you may have over filled it and inhaling too fast like a regular cigarette.. it also takes time to heat up the coil.. you may want to pulse the power on couple of times till you hear the sizzling sound.

It's also quite possible that the center pin of your battery is depressed too far and isn't making an electrical connection to your tank. The little center actually "floats" there and you can gently lift it back up.

When you screw your tank onto your battery it is common to crank it down too tight, pushing down that pin. Then next time it doesn't connect. Don't crank it down, just turn it until it makes contact -- "finger tight"

Just got my 1st semi-succesful VAPE small amount of vapor and still got oil in my mouth. Im using a visions spinner with a 2.5ml pyrex tank and cartomizer from kangertech. I don't think the tank is overfilled. I tried loosening up the parts and i think that helped some but please understand this is my 1st time and any tips anyone has are greatly appreciated so please keep posting :)

I don't think kangertech has any cartomisers; I figure you have a protank 3. That would be the pyrex tank.

Hold the mouthpiece up to your ear and press the button and you are supposed to hear a popping sound of the coil vaporising the eliquid.

Not a cartomizer but clearomizer perhaps?

If it's one of kanger tanks.. Make sure the coil head and bottom is screwed on tight.. That's where most of the leaks happen if not properly seated and closed.

when I'm using the vision spinner I press the button and the light comes on and I hear a sizzle but Im not getting good vapor puffs. the light blinks 5 times when I keep the button pressed down for a while. does this mean I need to charge the battery more?

More likely a protection feature.. My kanger battery will blink if pressed more than 10 sec. 16 in provari.

Try upping the voltage a little at a time.

You hear a sizzle - GOOD. That mean the thing is working.

Now when you take a draw on the mouthpiece, it might feel a bit tight, so try to make a slow draw. And yes the battery electronics does a protection thing to autoshutoff after about 10 seconds to prevent accidental over heating and fires from people leaving it in their pocket on in bags etc.

If you want to loosen the draw you can try unscrewing the tank a little, but listen for the sizzle sound to verify that your tank is still electrically connected.

When the battery runs down and needs rechanging it would blink 10 times.
