I just started into vaping with a ego spinner battery that I use a iclear 16 when I am out and about and an iclear 30s at home. Right now I'm using 100% PG juice at 12 and 6 nicotine. I have some 0 nicotine 100% VG juice coming in the mail to use once my 12 and 6 are out. I'm really into the flavor of juice with vaping so the throat hit with nicotine isnt really a factor for me anymore. I'm more addicted to the blowing of the smoke clouds and the flavor of juice than nicotine.

I want to get a bigger mod for at home vaping on a 2.5 - 3ml tank. This will be my first mod so I'm looking for advice. I think I've narrowed it down to three mods

Zmax V5
Innokin itaste svd
Vamo V5

What are your opinions

all three are pretty equal - I have the Zmax and the vamo personally

Zmax is great for steady vaping - you set the volts or wattage and no longer worry about it - if you are going to rebuild coils it can be a pain to switch it to read ohms though and similar with reading the remaining volts on your battery

the vamo is very easy to read ohms and volts but it is very easy to accidently change the voltage or wattage output - you also need to be careful with the 510 threads on vamos as they do strip out easily, a mini vivi nova beauty ring can help with preventing this from happening (you keep it raised up slightly and the attached tank will rest on it in stead of leaving a gap or getting overtightened to eliminate gap

no actual experience with the svd but it is very popular

hope this helps

Hi

I don't have any experience with the SVD, but I have a Vamo V2 and a Sigelei Zmax V2 (I think). The Vamo and the Zmax have the same features, except that the Sigelei has a 1 button menu and the Vamo has 3. Which one you like comes down to personal preference. I prefer 1 button, since the Vamo's buttons are tiny and close together. My fingers aren't large, but more than once I've pressed the adjust buttons when I was pressing the fire button.

Overall, I prefer the Sigelei. It has a more substantial feel to it and the icons on the screen are larger. I have to get out my glasses to tell if the Vamo has a v or Ω in the corner. Another point is the manufacturer. Sigelei make the Zmax (Smoktech makes one too, but it hasn't had as good reviews), but the Vamo doesn't have a specific manufacturer. A lot of companies make Vamos and they aren't always the same.

I suggest you browse through the posts in the APV section to see what current owners have to say about their devices.

Welcome to the wide world of vaping!

I love puffing clouds of vapor, which is why I settled on a 70VG/30PG ratio. It offers great throat hit with a much smoother vape. 50/50 is also good. I find PG quite irritating so I like to limit it.

First let me recommenda few juice vendors. Lately i have been using Ahlusion almost exclusvely and they have yet to let me down. Their juices are hand extracted and mixed in house, so their flavors are truly out of this world. I recommend Smooth Criminal for a good tobacco, and Peachy Criminal for something a little sweeter. All of their juices are god and they truly have something for everyone.

As far asAPVs go....i cant not recomend a Provari. Its great all around, but it may be a bit pricey. It depends what you want, but a wel maintained Provari will last you years.

Honestly other than that, I wouldnt personally recommend a Zmax or Vamo, as I find them finnicky and delicate. That is just me though, plenty of people love them and use them with happiness.

I say look into ReosMods for durable mod. Either that or an iTaste or an MVP would be great. The are both solid and built well. My final rec would be for an itaste134. They look like a lightsaber!

Happy vaping. In the end it comes down to what you want and need from your device

I do like the Innokin 134 looks, but it's a little more pricey than what am looking to spend. I'm going to need batteries and a charger as well. I have an Alt Smoke store about 25 minutes away from me and looking at going with the following

SVD $65
XTAr VP1 charger $50
AW IMR 18650 2000mah battery $12

On a side note I'm vaping a flavor called Melon Champagne that I got from them made by Perfected Vapes. Loving it. Also have some NicQuid Peach lemonade that is tasty.
