Hi ive just purchased a provari 2.5 but only that. Would anyone be able to recommend what else i need to purchase to get up and running, as this is to help me stop smoking am able to spend around £100 + to achieve a decent set up many thanks. Also im not sure if this is relevant but im a heavy smoker so need something that will be able to last awhile. Thanks in advance mike

I'd recommend going to your local smoke shop and seeing what they'd reccomend, what is compatible with your device. I'm new to vaping too. I have a Tesla 120w box mod with an Atlantis aspire tank, and a innoken shine with a Nautilus aspire tank... I wouldn't know diddily squat about anything if it weren't for them. Looks like you got a good Mod, now you need a tank and some juice. The easiest I found tank wise is the aspire tanks. The Nautilus and Nautilus mini were good enough to get me to finally quit and should be available in the UK. The Atlantis is the tank that put me on the slippery slope of getting into rebuildables and such. You should go to a local vape shop and ask to see what is readily available in your town. Remember you will need to have easy access to replacement coils for any tank you buy, so keep that in mind. If you go down the rebuildable route, well then that's a whole other story. Juice wise, if you were a heavy smoker like I was, you may need some relatively high nicotine content juice to get you off the cigs. I started with 24mg juice. I'm down to 12 mg juice now.
Here is what I would recommend. You can order from IB Tanked or find something similar that is more local to you.
They carry the Smok Cartomizers
or you could look for Boge Cartomizers
Pair either of those with a tank of your choice from IB Tanked or Phiniac... there are several other manufacturers out there as well, so just find something that you like. Just be sure that if you go with a tank like this you will want to get the pre-punched cartomizers.

You can put almost any sort of tank on a Provari, no trouble at all. I would imagine most the current kit (excluding sub ohm tanks) would work just great.
I've been using mini Nautilus since August 2014 and have no complaints. Tomorrow, I'm trying to see if a Kanger Subtank suits my style. I am interested in them for 3 reasons.
1. I can almost certainly rebuild the factory atomizer heads.
2. I can definitely rebuild the RBA deck that comes on the "mini" subtank.
3. As they come with a 0.5ohm coil and a 1.2ohm, I can use the 1.2 most of the time on 20w iSticks (for work) and the 0.5ohm on my Nemesis for the occasional 'blast' at home.
I used carto tanks quite often during 2013-2014 and always enjoyed them.
That's where I would start. Once you get into Vaping, you might want to consider a Kayfun... I enjoy my Kayfuns...

My old Provari was my main device to get me off smoking(3 yrs.) Mine is still flawless. The only reason I no longer use it is because it will not work/fire, lower resistance toppers.
There will be a minimum resistance yours will fire, maybe 0.7 or 1.2 ohm. Whatever toppers you decide on, be sure their resistance will be high enough to work on your new toy.
There will be bumps in the road, always is for new vapers, don't give up working on getting at least a "good enough" vape and don't beat yourself up if you still have a few smokes. Every smoke you DON'T
have is a success.

I hope that you find something that works for you, Mike. I ran with the cartomizers/tanks for several years before moving on to rebuildable atomizers. Be sure to let us know if there is anything else that you have questions on!

change your coils (in say, Atlantis, etc.) Hit up youtube and get the info on how to change coils.
I've found that this is one thing lacking at some B&M shops. It's so easy for people to miss out
on this step, and they get turned off quickly once the flavor turns to junk. Tanks that take
a 1.2/1.6/1.8 coil are a great place to start. Nice device choice by the way, That thing is built
like a tank, and will give you great vaping for a very long time.

Hi Mike, If you only have the one Provari, I would get 2-3 tanks. That way you can change out the flavor, when needed. There are many good tanks at reasonable prices. Aspire, Innokin 30s is my favorite, Davide. My Freedom Smokes is having a sale right now and has many tanks. I don't know if they ship to UK tho. Make sure you get a tank that holds at least 3 ml juice and remember to get extra coils. Good Luck
I've been vaping for a while now, and my Provari with a carto tank is still one of my favorite setups.
You want 3 ohm cartos (standard resistance) to take full advantage of the Provari's voltage range.
The Provari has a 3.5amp limiter, so buying low resistance stuff is a mistake.

Well both my provari 2.5's arrived on monday and happy to say it's going well, I've been what you could call a very heavy smoker for the past 17 years, even more so while intoxicated. I haven't smoked once since Monday morning 8am. This might seem somewhat early to say it's working, but i have never even managed 12 hours without smoking since i was a 14 year old boy. I do have a couple of questions i still need help with tho.
1. what 18650 brand batteries do people recommend
2. what high nic e-juice with a nice flavour do people recommend or suggest, i like a hard hitting throat hit, but with a nice taste to go with it.

Glad that you're happy with your ProVari, Mike! They are pretty awesome mods that are known to stand the test of time.
As for battery recommendations, you can check the link that Dinger posted above your last post. Baditude has put out some very good advice regarding batteries, and you can trust what he has shared.
Also, checking ProVape's website, it appears that they sell AW brand batteries See here.
As for juice... that's a wide open market and there are many, many suggestions. I used 36mg nic juice when I first started, but you'll want to vary that depending on what atomizer you are using. I'm not really familiar with what you have access to there in the U.K., but I'd say just try as many as you can and find something that you like. Trust me when I tell you that the quest for great juice is harder than the one for great gear!

2. Taste is subjective so go with flavs you already like, for me it's peach, pear, strawberry, banana and you might even mix bits of these together for a diff taste. STRAWBERRY/BANANA is pretty good together for example. I'll get dekang or hangsen juices off fasttech they are a bit strong but that's what you like.
They cost around 5 dollars for 50ml. not sure on the conversion but the price is reasonable.
(quite good actually,imo)
