Everyone loved my 2010 thread.. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ing-overwhelmed-vs-what-should-i-get-try.html

This is my new choice for 2012.. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ughstack-v2-aw-batteries-blue-mist-juice.html

I'm not an expert or anything else- I just think these threads will get someone started if they're new and overwhelmed.. To the average person, these are complex confusing devices (which they're really not- just seems that way with all of the numbers and abbreviations and all) and they could spend A LOT of money

I don't know if it's okay for a thread like this to be in the new members area, these days, but if it is PLEASE move it over to there .. A thread like this could have saved me a lot of money and aggravation back when

I've been looking for something new after I got screwed 3 weeks ago buying two e-power kits that are now broken and unusable (thanks crystal clear vapes). Do you know if the smokestack uses lithium batteries? They make me a little nervous so I'm trying to stick with non lithium setups.

Nope.. You CAN use lion batteries if you want, but xFires suck and I wouldn't .... I use AW IMR (been using them for years) .... they're made for high drain applications and they're lithium magnesium which is far far safer (no one has heard of one exploding, yet) .... they have a lower mah rating but still last A LOT longer not only between charges but over all -- PLUS whatever you use them in will work a lot better (trust/ultra fire they can't handle the demand of cartomizers and atomizers)

Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

The lion batteries that exploded were in a sealed tube mod, as far as I understand it.. The roughstack is at least vented.. I plan to add a couple more vents to mine, just to be safe.

And there's a "two cent" fuse I see some people recommending http://ivape.net/index.php/2-cent-fuse-Vapesafe.html

If you are cutting your nic level way back because of the extreme throat hit and also only taking one second vapes, how is a new person to get the nic into their bodies to help them get off of the cigs?

No it's truly not as harsh as I had read that it might be... it's the nicotine.. that's why I cut it back- it'll make you light headed!! I don't know about anyone else, but I seem to get more nic from these than from cigarettes (even though I smoked Newports)

I can't imagine someone vaping 24mg or something like this through this... good Lord.. I know most people vape A LOT at first .... but wow if they need that much, check into a rehab .. lol
