Hello everyone, this is my first post on the site! :D

I just recently started vaping and the main reason I started was for a "traveling hookah" in a sense.
I was under the impression that VG was more for taste and nice big clouds where as PG was for a throat hit and less cloud.
Is this right? I recently got a few liquids;

French Vanilla
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 0 mg - No Nicotine, Base Mix: Reduced PG)

Raspberry
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 0 mg - No Nicotine, Base Mix: Reduced PG)

Dragons Blood
(Additional Flavoring: Extra Flavor, Nic Strength: 0 mg - No Nicotine, Base Mix: Reduced PG)

You may notice that they are ALL extra flavor and they are ALL reduced PG. Am I going to get a good taste from all these or basically nothing? I got these from ECBlend.

Thanks :D

Welcome!

I'm kinda boring and just run 50/50. I just find it easier for me that way. The fun of this will be to experiment and find what YOU like. Higher VG can have a tendency to gunk up your coils - you will want to consider cleaning them "regularly". Not sure of your setup, but you might be able to drop your coils in a bit of vodka or everclear. You could also dryburn the heads (lots of sites with detailed info - depends on your head.)

BTW, your flavors sound YUMMO!

I usually try a new juice in 50/50 and adjust from there if it is worthy of a reorder, based on how I feel about the flavor/throat hit etc.

Dragon's Blood will probably be hard on the ce4's, they tend to crack under use with Dragonfruit. By then you may be ready for something else gear wise, so no worries either way.

Welcome, and enjoy yourself here at ecf!

I agree with merryhellion, i start at 50/50 and adjust for reorders. That's what i love about ECBlends, you can just order a bunch of 5mL bottles for $2.50 each, then get bigger bottles of what's good. You will just have to experiment with the VG/PG mixtures to see what you like, but you have the theory right: VG - more vapor, less throat hit and vice versa. I like the dragon blood, it kind of tastes like Jello. Best flavors i've gotten there are the dragon apple, the dragon tear (strawberry), fruit gum (tastes like juicy fruit), and their RY4 (one of the better one's i've had). Good luck finding your taste.
