I started vaping last month, recently went from a clearomizer to a tube tank just for ease of use, i'd rather not fill it several times a day, and while the flavor doesn't seem AS good as the clearomizer, still good flavor and less hassle, less to carry around etc.

The problem i'm having is that it seems to leak. Now keep in mind I just purchased it about 2 weeks ago, been vaping with little to no issues until the past few days. It is leaking out of the bottom, seemingly between the carto and the tube? I say that because I don't see liquid underneath the clear plastic at the bottom, and I don't see a ton of liquid in the bottom of the battery. Its not leaking a ton, the "sock" just seems to be a little wet everytime I take the battery off, and a drop or two seems to work its way into the bottom of the battery?

I am wiping the carto down before I slide it back into the tube, and wiping the whole thing down then I put it back together, so I know for sure it must be leaking while I am vaping.

How long do these cartos last? (When I smoked analogs I smoked maybe half a pack a day). How often do the O rings/pieces need changed? Thanks so much for any help.

Have you by chance messed up the O-ring while putting a carto in? I know one time I was putting a fresh carto in a tank, and one of the O-rings got out of it's groove, which caused it to leak until I figured out what was going on. Some cartos have a rough edge on them, and can hang up on the O-rings. O-rings should last for months without having to change. As far as how long cartos last....well, I vape almost continusly, and I have 5 different tanks. I personally change the cartos about once a week, mostly because the flavor starts to taste muted...but you would probably get a longer time.

Volcano juice is 70/30. Sounds like you dinged the bottom o ring when you put the carto back, or the juice is attacking it and has weakened it. I assume as this is a Volcano tank and presumably they had the carto in the tank when you bought it that they have o rings in the store you can buy to replace it.

I assume you have reviewed the filling and care video and information they have on their forum about this setup.

The top of a carto is sharp metal. You need to be careful to protect the o ring from being nicked by it when you put a new one in. It helps to lube the o ring with a bit of juice or PG.

I vape carto tanks more than plain cartos or dripping. I change cartos in tanks perhaps once a week or whenever the taste becomes muted. It is important to always keep them wet and the punched hole in them under the level of the juice in the tank.

I've only ever taken it apart once, so I hope its not that sensitive or I might switch back to clearomizers. Of course I may have just been to rough with it the first time. the juice may be attacking it, but I doubt it, like I said its really new. I guess i'll invest in some O-rings when i'm near the store next, I have some credit to use up anyway.

Thanks to everyone for the info! :)

thought I would update as I got home and needed to refill anyway. took it apart, cleaned it, lubed the seals, checked for any tears or deteriorated/broken o rings, changed the cartomizer and put it all back together then filled it. seems to be sealed tight now!

One last question, when priming, they recommended 20 drops with the kit, but the lady at the store said it usually takes 30 or more. I watched her do it but she even overfilled it(coming out the bottom) how many drops do you think I should do and should I wait to vape after filling it, give it time to get wet?
