Hello all, just another new member here.
After trying (and hating) cheapy e-cigs I finally sucked it up (pun intended) and bought a real kit.

Talk about an easy quit! I was easily-and embarrassingly-a pack a day smoker at my worst. I was already sick of the stink, coughing, and expense but was having a hard time quitting. I received my e-go kit less than a week ago and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. On day one, I only had three analogs (because I was still learning and making mistakes with using the e-go) and am now stinky stick free. IN LESS THAN A WEEK! I am completely giddy.

I really wish I had taken this leap long ago when some friends of mine made the switch. Even after just less than a week, I am already starting to feel much, much better.

My work is transitioning to a Smoke-Free Workplace in the spring of next year. Unfortunately, that also includes e-cigs. So my next goal is to reduce down the nic content in my juices. I hope that will help the cravings subside a bit. As I am reading more and more about the vaping community, I have a growing outrage by the vast amounts of resistance to e-cigs in legislatures. I would think that there would be more acceptance to a device which has helped so many smokers quit, and stay quit. I would think that an alternative to a suicide inducing drug would be embraced. As far as this being a nicotine dispensing device, ok I get that. But my work, for example, will pay for gums and nicotine patches which do the same thing...how are those any different?

Ahhh I guess I am rambling a bit...and this was only meant to be a "hello" post.

Hello!

Sounds like things are going great for you, and you are rightfully outraged at what the powers that be are up to.
I'm sorry your workplace has their head firmly lodged up their rear ends, but it is what it is.

Stealth vaping is an easy trick to learn, and can be done just about anywhere.
Read up on that, and if you have any questions just ask.
:)

I vape wherever it is allowed, and stealth vape wherever it isn't.

thank you for the welcome. Stealth vaping, you say? I shall search up on more of that. i have already thought of places I might be able to hit up some vape. The gym dressing room comes to mind. Luckily for me, I work from home about half of the month and since this does not stink, passthrough is king right now.

Welcome, kuklaki! I got an eGo kit exactly one week ago, and found, like you, it was the easiest quit ever. Fifteen years of smoking vanished overnight.

Glad that you found ECF - this is an amazing community and the people here have helped me out a lot. If you have questions, ask! The people are here are knowledgeable and incredibly supportive.

Congrats!

Hello!

Me and my husband feel the same way you do! Thank God for vaping!

That is what I thought also. However someone turned me in. Some juice does leave a lingering smell so maybe use just unflavored nic juice.

The person that turned you in, a smoker? Wonder if it is a jealousy thing. Some people get off on that sort of thing. "Hey look what he's doing" etc. I work as a cook so my exhaust vents take care of the smell although my wife with her sensitive nose can't smell my vaping. The only flavor I have used so far that I have detected is vanilla. It has made my truck smell of vanilla and I'm cool with that! :) It's just value added for vaping for me!

Bear in mind this gets addictive real quick said:
I can attest to this! I got my ego kit back in January, then i picked up a vv lambo the middle of may and that's when i gave up the analogs completely (yep jumped off the bridge at that point) and since i have purchased a mini vv tube, the young june version of the lambo (this one was mainly because the actual lambo has a "floating" pin design that failed and i couldn't use it anymore) several carto tanks (including 2 phiniac tanks (side note i LOVE my phiniac tanks and highly recommend them)) and i have started dabbling in DIY juices. I have a list of other things i want like a HH357 atty and a Provari. I have had to institute a "Vaping budget" and stick to it but i still have a long list of things i want.:p Oh the possibilities!!!
