The Protank is the clearomizer (liquid tank and coil) that will sit on top of the MVP2 that you get.

I recommend that you get a back-up system in case your MVP gets dropped and dies. That "spare" may work for your wife. Also, I have multiple tanks so I can switch flavors without cleaning so much. I usually have 3-4 tanks with juice going at any one time. Until you settle in, I would stick to Protank 2s or all Nautilus tanks. The coils are different on many Clearomizers, so if you use the same clearomizer, you only have to buy one kind of coil to put in your clearomizers.

If you are just starting out I would suggest an ego twist starter kit. This includes a variable voltage battery, charger, and a basic clearomizer like a CE4. The stuff some of the other guys are suggesting are better quality, but they are more expensive and have more adjustments/quirks which may be a little confusing and/or frustrating to someone just starting out. I know when I first made the switch I just wanted something that was reliable, inexpensive, and easy to use, and to me the ego twist/CE4 fits that bill perfectly. The most important thing early on is get off cigarettes, and this combo did that for me with no headache involved. When you have successfully made the transition into a full time vapor, then you can start looking at some of that other stuff, but at this point, I suggest keeping it simple.
Just go to ebay and search "ego twist starter kit" you should be able to get one for under 20 bucks. Good Luck!

well here is the deal, the stuff she is using they claim 24mg of nicotine compared to the 0 /6/12/18mgs they offer at the store... her biggest issue is the specific juice she is using produces very little vapor where as my 0% produces so darn much its like smoke.. so maybe she need to be able to turn it up alittle... these evods are fixed at 3.6? but after research if she could turn the volts up I think she would benefit..

I have a MVP2.0 and I vape a Kangertech AeroTank on it. Great combo for a smooth hit. As far as the flooding goes, try adjusting your voltage and wattage till you find the right setting to vape the liquid at a quick rate. I have an Evod and an Evod vv battery aswell and I have to say, for small vaping I have no issues with it. I may have to unscrew the tank now and then and fling a little excess liquid out of the coil or put a twisted corn of a paper towel through the mouth piece to clean it up some but I have had worse flooding with my Kanger protank 3 than any of them.

I have been using the MVP2 and the Nautilus Mini for the last week and it works great for me. I am also new to this and I have researched so much on this forum and others. I am very happy with the set up that I am running.

101 Vape is where I ordered my equipment from and I didn't find any discount coupons. Their prices are fair and good.........:D

This forums is really great you guys have went above and beyond to help me, thanks again.. so the protank is just a mod i suppose?? and what kind of coils will the mvp use? at the place i started in my local mall they have begun offering a new tank that has a "Ceramic Coil" I am not jumping to get one because they don't offer any ceramic coil replacements as of yet.. " cart before the horse? " anyways whats your take on this?
Protank is a tank with replacement coils. The coils have silica wicks and require very little matinee. Its considered what is called a clearomisor. It's a great tank and eventually u can get into rebuilding the coils. You can't go wrong with it.

Something else is how fast the coils go bad me and her went through 10 coils in a month is that normal?

As far as maintenance we had them about a month and a week not sure really

Yes that is normal when you just use and toss, but most of us rewick with cotton every 1 to 2 days, dryburn once a week, and eventually if the coil goes dead, we recoil.
1 coil could last weeks or months;

Where is a really safe and cheap place to get good e-juice?

I ordered a knockoff ego twist and the MVP V2

You will be happy with your mvp2; it will provide your vaping power so you can focus on other issues; eventually you'll probably want to upgrade to a replaceble battery mod that takes standard 18650 batteries.

So Im ordering juice and curious about the difference in VG/PG content I have the option of 50/50 or max VG.. now for my gf i want it to be as much like smoke as possable.. and not super harsh on the throat so what would I order?

And i found out the stuff we are smoking is 100% PG I think according the juice I have in my pocket.. mine produces decent vapor but its not crazy but my gf's is super low on the vapor.. not sure if hers is the same as mine because the one I am smoking is one of there "house blends" they made themselves..
