So I just started vaping. I'm using an M-401 model. I am enjoying vaping but I'm thinking that another model might work better for me. Does anyone have any suggestions. The other problem is that I live in Canada and I'm restricted by what I can get. So if anyone knows where I can get supplies in Edmonton that would also be helpful.

thanks

The M401 was my first PV also, you NEED a better model, what you switch to would depend on how much you smoke,
and how strong of cigs you smoke. In general a 510 or KR808 would most likely be a better option.

Supplies can be searched for here: Canada Suppliers

And after 5 posts (forum rules) you can post here: Canada Forum

thanks for the advice. The kr808 is one of the models I'm looking at. The other is the Maxx Fusion but I don't think I can get it in Canada.

I got a pretty good deal, (i think) from evapers dot com. they have the eGo and the eGo tank, this might be close to the ecigs you have or better. Check them out, another one close to you might be electro vapors dot com. Haven't bought off her yet but she sound pretty standup from what I've read here.....

Maxx Fusion is a KR808 I believe, just a rebranded name. The numbers refer to the thread sizes on the batteries and atty / cartos, any 510 will fit any other 510, 808 to 808, etc... some vendors rename them to make you believe you can ONLY go to them fro refills.

thanks again. eventually I'll figure this all out and won't sound like such a noob.

thanks. finding places and dealers in canada is hard and knowing which ones to trust is even harder.

Check out all the sites before you order, I am not affiliated with anyone I mentioned but I know that at least one of them has better deals on hardware than nicfit. Check em out, there is a few good deals out there for us Canucks, and hopefully you figure out a few and share your best experiences. I ordered from one and he so far has been excellent.

My first ecig was 4081 model: Didn't last more than a 3 days before I knew there was something better for me.

Next was: DSE 901, not a bad unit but the batts died quick and didnt like the look/feel.

Then came: KR808, good model and a nice stepping stone. But by this point I had read enough to know that I was missing out.

Now: I have an eGo and life is grand. I am ordering more batt with diff mAh and different attys and carto's just to try and find something that I like even more.

Best advice I can offer is go with an ego or at least a Riva 901. You wont regret it. I have to second dormouse's comment though in that I kept all my stuff instead of throwing it down the trash.

Happy Vaping.

Cheers,
VMS
