Hey there people! So after years of smoking and $$$ wasted on quit smoking products I've decided to finally get into the e-cig thing. I've never tried it before but have been researching the subject religiously the past week. Well I just put my order in for a ProVari mini this afternoon. I wasnt sure if it was a good idea to get the best right away but decided that its better that way then to waste more money just to work up to it. It anyone has any tips or setups that would suit me please let me know!! Im excited to finally kick this habit...and start another one :)

Welcome and congrats on the decision! Hey, ya picked a good PV, maybe not one a lot of people start out with, but a good one none the less. On a side not, you might want to pick up a backup or two just in case. As far as setups, you will probably want to try as many as you can in order to find out what is going to work best for you. You will more than certainly have others chime in here soon..until then, good luck with your transition and vape on!

Welcome NeoBahamut, made the same choice as you a few months back, getting the Provari.
Also got the Provari to ego adapter(510-ego) and use vision ego clearomizers (stardusts)
exclusively now.

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and the ECF.
And congrats on making the more healthy and tasty choice to vape, it works!

Cheers!:vapor::vapor:

I'd prolly go with some good cartomizers or a cartomizer tank setup (tanks look good on the provari).

All these new fangled top coil / string wicked doodads aren't really turning out to be all that great in my humble opinion.

Can't go wrong with straight dripping on a good atomizer either. But it's not very feasible when you're out and about.

Congrats on the purchase. You probably did the right thing, jump right in and save some money in the long run. I'm going on my 3rd week and have purchased a full Volt kit, then an Apollo Vtube, and now a Volt X2 with clearo. I know i'll get a provari soon too I imagine but oh well. Was fun growing into everything so fast.

As for setups, yes I definitely recommend a tank. Love having mine, breeze to fill, had no leaking problems etc. Good couple days worth of juice in it for long haul vaping. I got a 3 ohm dual coil cartomizer tank and does the job nicely. With your Provari and it's VV you should probably look into one of those as well. Can change your voltage to your liking for the hit you enjoy most. I run about between 4.8 and 5.5 volts on mine depending but usually keep it at 5V.

Although I have yet to try it, I have read great things and suggest you look into the Mom and Pops Tank Tanks - Mom and Pop Vapor Shop
And/or the Vision Vivi Nova GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml Twist-On Replaceabe Coil TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANK] - $15.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I think you made a great choice. If I would have bought a Provari for my 1st time out I would have saved 100s of dollars. I know I would have had no problem running it as a newb. Just be sure to use the recommended batteries and you will be OK. You may also want to read up on mod battery safety just so you will not make any mistakes there. You are going to have no problem quitting with the Provari. Have fun...:vapor:
