Felt I should say Hello, and thanks for all the great information I've found here so far.

I'll do my best to get the lingo right here.

I quit analogs cold turkey about 2 1/2 years ago, but unfortunately started back up 4 months ago. On a whim I picked up a Blu disposable on my last trip to the gas station for analogs. I found that it could easily replace them. Tho I didn't really like the disposable nature of it, seems like a waste to throw away everything in it each time it ran out. So I started searching a bit, Found the Blu site and say their kits, and thought that sounded better. Then I started looking for reviews of what other people thought. Somewhere in that search I found these forums.

After a bit of reading here, it was pretty clear that Blu's wouldn't be the best fit for me. The cig like mini style wasn't much of a concern to me. That I'd be happier getting a bit more advanced even as a newb.

After reading a bunch of the advice threads and hearing the opinions of the long time vapers and newbs alike, I decided what I wanted (ish).

Found the closest Brick & Mortar eCig shop near me (An hour drive..) and headed out this morning. I realized a B&M was going to cost a bit more, but being my first purchase the ability to have a person there I could ask questions of and opinions from was worth the extra cost.

It was a great experience, I got to put together my own starter kit. I came home with 2 Ego-C Twists 1000mah, Chargers, Kanger T3 clearo, a few replacement coils for the Kanger, and an EMDCC. The EMDCC wasn't something I had seen here prior to going to the shop. (But have read up on them here now that I bought it) It was recommended by the worker to have better flavor. Picked up a couple bottles of juice, would have liked a bit more time to think about what flavors I would like, but there were a few people that had come in after me, and didn't want to hold up the employee anymore.

Now, the only real questions I have left for you all.

What is a good starting voltage to use on the twist with the kanger? I started off on a fully charged battery, at the minimum 3.2 but wasn't getting much vapor and have been bumping it up 4.2 seems like I get a good draw, but will that cause the coil to fail earlier? Should I lower the voltage back down some and work on my technique?
How about with the EMDCC? I haven't tried that yet, just filled it. Read it was good practice to let it sit for 30 minutes after filling.
Think I'll need to get a syringe to fill that one up as even after an hour it still has a dry spot down at the bottom, and adding more drops hasn't seemed to help any.

I also started with a Kanger Tank. I don't like it anymore coz teh vape tends to have burnt taste if I vape too much. I had to tip it up side down while vaping, but then liquid goes to my lips. I use catomizer tanks now (ensure you prime it good especially with think juice). I started with eGo C Twist, but now I have a Provari (I like it's voltage regulation; same volts / vape even at low battery).

I suggest a Cartomizer tank style (some are about 10 at stores). For me it gave endless vapes :)

You have a very good starter set up there. I love the Kanger T3's (I don't go over 4 volts on my Provari as their heads are 2.4ohms), and also vape with carto tanks. Remember to keep your EMDCC always wet (This is why I like carto tanks, don't need to be replenishing the juice in the tank throughout the day). You did good!
