new to vaping

Hi I'm new to vaping and just got a new type of vaperizer a couple of days a go. I have always used the cig looking one but they never worked for me so I just recently got the nexxus essential oil vaporizer and have not smoked a cig since I bought it. I am so confused with all the stuff about vaporizer I really like what I am using now but am wanting to know more about them and I'm starting to want to upgrade to a mod. the one I'm using now is awesome but battery life on it last a little less then a day. I would like to know more about what and ego is ( is it a brand or a type. So confused.) And what different attachments I can use on it. Iv tried learning more on the internet but am not quiet understanding. Mostly the clearmizers and the attachments that hold the e liquid. Plz help as I'm loving that I'm not smoking analog cigs anymore but just need more info on this stuff so I can find the right fit for me. Would also love suggestion on what to upgrade to I really want something that is great on battery life but has a slim profile and gives off a lot of vapor. Thanks

Ego is a brand - there are Cs, Qs, Ks, Ts, and other misc eGo batteries.

For the money - the Ts are good.
The Cs are good too - but cost more.
The Qs and Ks are cute - but the batteries don't last as long.

I use a T (buy the battery only - Not the whole set up) with these tanks: eGo BCC Clearomizer - 5pc eGo 3ml Tabac/KangerTech T3 BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clear cartomizer/Clearomizer
They work good - hold a lot of juice and are rebuildable - if you need to........

Correction: Ego is not a brand, it is a "class" of battery. Vision and Joytech are manufacturer brands, and they make eGo type batteries.

The T, C, K and Q's are sub-classes of the ego batteries.

Congrats to you and welcome to the forum. You have come to the right place if you want to learn more about this healthier addiction. I never thought it was possible to quit smoking. I started vaping just to cut back on cigarettes and save a little money. It just got to the point where I preferred vaping. It is quite amazing. Join in on some different threads and watch YouTube videos and reviews. Ask away because there is always someone here that will know the answer or at least point you in the right direction. That's for the replys. Iv done some more research and I have to say I now understand most things. And decided I really like the ego batteries with the ce5 clearmizersbut I don't know what battery would be the best ( some many different types of batteries). I would like one that is 900 may or bigger and want to know what are the best brands to get( fear of it dying when out and about). I feel like they are all the same because they all look the same just different logos but I'm sure brand is the most important. I want one that keeps a good charge and still has that slim portability and would be awesome if it had a USB port at the bottom. Price is not that much of an issue as I don't want it to crap out on me. Also if you know of anything better then the ce5 plz let me know I really like it because it has a slim design and can replace the wicks( slim portablity is so important to me as I don't like to carry much stuff when I'm out like my pockets empty).

The Vision Spinner is a good, simple battery and the charger that comes with it has a USB plug. You just pull the cord from the plug itself, attach the battery like you would any charger, and plug the cord into a USB port on your computer or whatever. It is designed to fit for eGo type accessories so you can shop around for whatever tanks, clearomizers, etc. you prefer and find them all over the place.

The 1300 mAh lasts at least 13 hours (which is about a whole day), takes roughly 4 hours to charge, and you can vary the voltage easily by turning the knob on the bottom. Plus, it's only around $25 or so.

I love how simple it is and it looks good, too. Slim, tall, and not too clunky.

I keep mine on a lanyard around my neck.
