Rob here...just wanted to say hello to all. Was a 25+year smoker that gave up cigarettes cold turkey last June. When I went to visit relatives in Georgia over Christmas....was very tough to stay smoke free so I borrow one of my mom's E-cigs. I used it through out the whole holidays. When I had to leave to come back home, I had to finally give in and purchase a starter kit(EVOD) I did not really know about this whole ECF thing and paid WAYYYY too much for a crappy starter kit(the batteries give out too quick and there is not enough body) So with the help of all the news threads from this site plus my awesome mom...I have stepped into this expensive hobby. It looks like I will be ordering my first mod as of next week. Just wanted to say thanks to everybody for all of the FAQ been answered...and helping me out when I needed it.

Way to go for staying off the ciggies ! You know this forum is indeed fantastic, everyone is very helpful, kind and concerned .
Welcome Rob to ECF. Congrats on quitting cigarettes. Seems every day new and better e-cig equipment comes out.....something to always look forward to. It's a great hobby to stay off the cigarettes....I'm learning so much, even have started to DIY e-liquid and to rebuild coils.
