Hey everyone, my name is Brad and I am actually new to vaping and I'm actually really liking it. I am still smoking cigs but I've definitely cut down a ton... which is really awesome though.. but I've been interested in doin "mods" I guess to my vape.. I have thought about getting one that you can adjust the voltage or something along the lines of that. I've also been looking for a place online to get more items such as juices and such.. which I'm thinking that I will really enjoy this forum... So I hope to talk to you all soon.

Hello and welcome Brad!

Below are some blog posts by ECF member Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping.

1. A Good Starter's Setup for a Beginning Vapor
2. Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Egos and Mods
3. Proper terminology - Is it a carto, a tank, or what? A Guide to Juice Attachments.
4. Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Hey Brad, Welcome. I started vaping with the Itaste MVP v2, it is affordable and will do all you need to get a pleasant vape. Use bottom coil tanks also. My favorite tank is the aspire Nautilus I use it on my MVP and my Provari. I have found Halo juices the best for tobacco blends. Prime 15 is good and Tribecca is my favorite it has a nutty undertone.

Good luck and vape on

Welcome. I vaped for 2 years while I was still on the analogs till I put the smokes down about a month and a half ago. You'll be able to tell a difference in how you feel just a few days after you quit. It's just deciding how bad you wanna do it. Lol. It's not a miracle solution. It requires a conscious effort to vape and not smoke, but it worked for me when nothing else would. Good luck, Jmho

Welcome Brad! My first setup was a ego t and was very disappointed I quickly changed to a pro tank 2 with a ego ctwist vv battery and the result was amazing now I have nemesis with omega dripper, I get all my juices from mtbakervapor.com great prices and great flavor. If you want a good starter kit for a good price check out evod my girlfriend has one and she loves it! Welcome again and happy vaping fellas!

Hey brad and congrats on making the decision to switch!
Baditude is definitely a great guy I get advice from!
Another great resource is pbusardos website. He does some really in depth reviews giving you the good and bad of the pros and cons no matter how small; letting you make an informed decision.
His site is www.tasteyourjuice.com
Also; IMHO a great place to start with variable voltage and variable wattage would be the MVP2.0; very inexpensive, very powerful, extremely accurate and very durable. All around great starter kit without a large investment. Www.101vape.com has them for about 40.00.

Hi,
I am new here and I tried e cigs like enjoy and blue and I did not like them at all. Then went to my sons home in Richmond, Va and my sister who was a chain smoker and stopped by using a vapor e cig called avail. She emailed me here and told me they had a store not to far and I went there and I got a mini pro tank and found a flavor I liked and that next day I put down my smokes and have not had one in about a month. I like this vaping thing. I still don't know or understand all the tech stuff about this but I am reading here and I am going to learn. Just posted to you to say you will find out what works for you as I am learning what works for me.

I agree with Cde1218, never turn down friends when they offer. It's the best way to find out if you like how a particular mod feels. I also think T0ny3 was right with a MVP2.0 as maybe one of your firsts. It was my first and you never forget your first mod, right? The battery life was/is insane!
I believe T0ny3's link might be cheaper, but lots of other goodies here: Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com
And if you are looking for juice try www.mtbakervapor.com for fast shipping and cheap juice. More quality juices for higher price: Nickoticket I believeCarpe Diem Vapor has a buy one get one sale right now on Facebook. Oh yeah, and follow all your favorite vendors on Facebook. Quick and easy way to get updates without sifting through newsletters. :)
