I may see if I can get a few different boxes off my mates and try them out (obviously with a tank of my own). Actually, that may make a good YouTube video haha

It might. :)

With the way things are at the moment, one kit is not going to do the job, so you may as well throw a dart at a board and take a wild guess.
Everybody can use a subtank (top fill seems better).
A Kanger Subox (Kbox mod, whatever it's called) or a Sigelei is never going to be wasted, even if you end up totally Star Wars-ed out with a funky-looking posh mod.

Nobody serious about staying off the smokes and vaping can sit by with just one mod and a tank or two. If the EU get their way (and they have already on the liquids and bottles) there will be a massive tax soon enough on all hardware too.
They are talking about taxing iSticks (basic non-changeable battery) from £40 to over £100. Not yet.... but it's not going to be that long if they get their way.

Bag some mods. Bag at least 4 tanks (2 normal, 2 rebuildable).
Stock up now on 30ml liquids.

Well I'm restricted on funds so I'll be getting one box and one tank for now. I've been going with this VIP thing on its own for long enough so I'm sure I could last a little while longer to get other tanks and suchwhat
Yup, sure.
Try out some sub-ohm stuff and see what you think.
I'm ordering a Joyetech Cuboid later (from China) for £25. I said I wouldn't go 2 x battery, but think it might be useful....

Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay! Congrats on quitting but my advice is not to continue only smoking here and there as I tried that before I just went cold turkey and dealt with the wrath of cigarette addiction. Not fun and it wasn't easy but I tried to quit many times in the past until over a year and half ago when I woke one day and decided that was the day I had my last Killer Stick!

On another note after lots of research and recommendation from those here and at my Vape Shop I bought the iStick TC40W and Nautilus Mini. So happy with battery life and the tank I bought another Nautilus Mini 2 days later. Good Luck!

I do like the look of the Kanger. Apparently the eVic mini is good but with a Cubis tank, rather than the one that comes bundled with it.
Have you tried the Tron-S tank. I challenge you to put same juice in Tron and Cubis and you will soon discover that the Cubis is a flavor duller compared to the Tron. Tron does not gurle and spit for 10 or 15 puffs everytime you fill it. Tron S is one of the best tanks for flavor. If not for wide open tank on Cubis for filling it is a mutted piece of garbage compared to the Tron S. CHEERS!

Some good options here. The two that I credit with getting me to kick was a combo:

Nautlius Mini
Kanger Subtank (I used the mini because I wanted the rebuild option)

Use the Nautilus all day. Tape it to hand if you can. If you can't… you've got the sub tank in reserve to give you a bigger hit when you can get a vape break. Then you sip on the nautilus when you get home. It also gives you the chance to run a couple flavors.

Stick those tanks on any 30-40w mod you like the look of (so you can at least explore higher wattage). In a few months of getting off the stinks, you may want to upgrade with the money saved.

Enjoy the journey

Thanks @BrotherBob. I watched that advancing the vaping ladder video. It helped clear a few things up. Well, up until I got to the bit about making your own coils, that just made my head spin haha
If you can bend a paperclip, you can make your own coils. Just need to watch a number of YouTube's.
