Hi All,
I am a new vaper and trying to learn from different sources.
But I think it is best to ask experts directly.
I have purchased a GS ego ii twist battery with Kanger Genitank Mini.
I am still smoking analog cigarettes along with it.
There are many confusing things for me
First of all is it a good combination for a starter? Ego with genitank mini?
it has 1.5ohm coil and how do i know when to change coil as I am already feeling quite less flavour althought i have just filled it 3rd time
Which means around 4.5ml of liquid used
Can you people suggest me some other attomizer/clearomizer to use with ego ii.
Can i use rda automizers with it?
Also is this battery fine? How much amps does it have if anyone knows as battery says 2200mAh
Thanks
Welcome

An Ego II and a Genitank are perfectly fine to start. I think you've started to answer your own question about when to change the coil. As you start to notice flavor/vapor decrease, it's time to either clean or replace the coil. I'm not familiar with the Genitank, and when I did a quick search, I'm not seeing as much on cleaning as I have found with my Protank 2 coils. You might take the coil that's starting to fade and at least give it a soak in vodka or everclear for a few hours/overnight. That may help a bit.
Regarding other tanks, you can get pretty much anything that is eGo/510 threaded. As far as RDAs are concerned, first of all, you don't have near enough power to drive coils much below 1.3-1.5 ohms. I tried to find some specs, but nothing concrete. Typically, these kinds of devices limit themselves around 3A. The 2200maH refers to the "life" of the battery - higher maH, longer time between charges. Secondly, PLEASE read up on Ohm's and Watt's Laws as well as battery safety before you start thinking about building coils (of any kind). There's a gent out here named Baditude who has a number of articles and references:
E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs Besides reading, become familiar with how to use an ohmmeter.
I basically started with a Vision Spinner (same voltage range, but 1600maH) These work better with coils in the 1.8-2.5 ohm range - decent battery life and moderately decent vape quality. I used regular EVOD tanks on them for months with 1.8 ohm coils.
I have only been vaping since July of last year and still have questions. But I have learned that there is a method to vaping and how you puff. You cannot treat it like a cigarette and you cannot keep puffing and puffing. The coil will get hot and it will not last long. Slow and easy puffs I find are best. After a few puffs set your mod aside and let it cool down. Also at night I disconnect my tank from my battery and set it upside down so the juice is towards to drip tip. You will get a much better puff in the a.m. Also don't fill your tank up all the way, leave some space on top. Also don't let the juice go down too far either. Hope I have helped somewhat. Vaping is a learning journey just relax and enjoy. Keep reading the forum and asking questions. Vape on and join CASAA.
Welcome to you too

As you mention, there is "technique" to vaping - easier draws than hoovering like a cigarette. You don't mention the type of battery and topper you're using, but be careful about tipping the tank upside down. Some don't do well with that philosphy, i.e., juice will start pouring out the tip

(ask me how I know

) Spot on re: not overfilling the tank nor vaping until completely dry. Most tanks need to establish a vacuum to help draw liquid to the wicks. Some tanks, if they get vaped too low may vacuum-lock (VERY difficult to get open) or you run juice out of the wicks and get the dreaded "dry hit".
Glad you're both here - make yourselves at home!
