New to Vaping

First off, nice forum. I'm a huge forum guy and own several vbull forums myself on different topics so I'm loving the layout and info here.

So tomorrow is my "quit" day. I'm 32 and have been smoking since I was 16. I set my quit day to the day after the Super Bowl lol. I'm gonna need my smokes today.

Anyways...................

On to a few questions.

I guess the first question is what in the heck do i own ?

I purchased a Smoking Everywhere Gold One Edition. Does anyone know what the model of this thing is so I know atleast where to start comparing to other models. It's 11 cm long. I assume 3 piece because it has the battery (automatic), the atomizer, and the cartridge. So far it seems to be an ok unit but I'm not having much luck refilling these cartridges.

I purchased (2) 30 ml bottles of 24mg juice from eSmoke (is this a good place to order from?). I got tobacco flavor and apple. However I don't get much flavor from this unit. Is this normal? Also with this unit, on a good solid 5 second draw the LED starts flashing (5 times I think). What's this about.

After doing some research I have already ordered my second unit which from a video review I found here came recommended as producing a lot of flavor. It's the VaporKing. I put my order in this morning so hopefully I will have it by the end of next week.

I am open to any and all suggestions for a newbie vaper.

Glad to be here and I look forward to talking to you all on my new found hobby. I can see already that this is going to be addictive. I'm a tech guy to begin with and I can see there are a ton of variety to check out.

Welcome to the Forum Dexter! Congrats on your decision to quite smoking! You will find that vaping is addictive! I am a newbie myself so I will not dispense any advice but I know that the seasoned vet's will be by soon to give you some of their great wisdom. Good Luck!

Believe you got a model RN4081, Same as my cloud9, same as NJOY pro and smoke51, smoke everywhere, all use RN4081 series battery's and atomisers. Hope this helps

yup, I have already read through the series of threads once and will prolly do so a couple more times.

I'm just curious as to what I actually have both the battery and the atomizer so I know atleast what some people are referring to as I read through the threads. I do know that my atomizer is not bridged because it doesn't stand of the end of the unit.

when they say bridge they mean the little arch inside, atty, you got same atty i got look into the atty see little arch that sticks up,,, some have bridge exposed out over top of the atty and some like yours are recessed inside the atty tube.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself. If you still need a few analogs when you vape in the beginning, especially since you have a model that is not among the strongest, that is not a big problem. What counts is the analogs you don't smoke.

In good time, you will most likely be able to quit analogs completely, but you won't find vaping a very satisfying experience if every waking thought you have is about that analog you can't smoke.

If after a few weeks you still can't leave them off completely, check out the smokeless forum. Some people need more than nicotine from analogs. And there are considerably healthier ways to get it than those, too. Chances are high, though, that you will be smoke-free in a very short time, and won't need those.

If you have already purchased a Smoking Everywhere Gold or an Njoy Npro, you own a 102 mm (or 105 mm?) RN4081, whether you know it or not.

DSE103 parts are also swappable with the RN4081. Just make sure if you use at DSE103 atty, use a DSE103 cart

How you vape will influence how the juice tastes. Your reference to a 5 second draw implies IMO that you are direct inhaling the vapor, which will give you maximum vapor and TH but not much taste. For maximum taste you need to draw/inhale. That is, draw the vapor into your mouth first, and then inhale the vapor once it is in your mouth.

The blinking LED is a warning that your battery is about to cut off. Several e-cig models with automatic batteries have a built-in battery cut-off that will cut off power to the atty after 5 seconds. This function is to protect the atty from burning up and/or extend the life of the atty. Even with models that come with manual batteries and without the built-in cut off, the manufacturers recommend you not hold the button down more than 5 seconds at a time.

I am on day 20 of strictly vaping, so that qualifies me as a newbie. The two days prior to that were "experimental". The last 3 regular cigs I smoked were just to see if I was missing anything, I wasn't. There is a bit of a learning curve, as the seasoned vets will tell you. It is kinda like getting used to driving a new car, after a while you know how that car drives best. Hang in there and be sure to keep your spare battery fully charged at all times. Much appreciated. I have been wondering about the flashing and couldn't find an answer in the manual about it.

Does anyone know what the model of the atty is in these units?
