Congratulations on your first step, @syto203! Personally, for anyone new to vaping, I would recommend getting something simple, something basic. A box mod is fine, but I absolutely recommend something regulated until you've educated yourself on battery safety, ohms law, and to never use hybrid mech mods. Ever. For any reason. There is no reason to take the risk. That's just my opinion, though. I, honestly, would recommend getting yourself a small box like the eVic VTC Mini. It's a temperature control device, variable wattage, and can be set up to work on pretty much anything. They're not terribly expensive, but they get the job done, and get it done well.

Another cool thing about the eVic VTC Mini is that it has a bypass mode, which basically takes a regulated mod and turns it into a mech mod. So once you've learned all about battery safety and ohms law, and what batteries to use, you can dive right into the mech world if your heart so desires. It really is a clever little device.

Get the VTC! They are great (you will love it). Only wish that level of technology was in devices when I started back in 09! It wasn't until the mods got good enough for me to switch completely over from smoking (about 3-4 years ago).

Just picked up a Subtank mini for mine:

Here it is with the included tank if you get the "kit":
