Hey, thank you!
I'm using the smok tpriv myself, and yea I've read the manuals so I know the basics, but it's modes like the ccw/cct that I'm just starting to learn about..... and still very confused as to which coils are best for vw/tc and how to tell the difference.
I'm from Ireland.... and we're still relatively new to the vaping scene.
TC coil materials are Stainless steel, nickel, titanium or zirconium. As the wire gets hotter, it's resistance increases at a predicable rate and the "chip" in the device is able to correlate the resistance to an approximate temperature.
Stainless steel, nichrome, and kanthal can be used in wattage mode. Titanium, nickle and zirconioum should only be used in TC mode.
CCW/CCT lets you control/customize the output of your device in .5 second increments for the duration of the "hit".
CCW VS VW = at 40watts in VW, the coil gets 40 watts of power delivered from the moment you push the button until you release it.
CCW would allow you to increase or decrease the power delivered every half second. One benefit is to allow the reduction of power delivered at the end of the draw to help the coil cool down a bit before it is not longer being cooled by the air being inhaled. Conversely, you can choose to increase the power delivered at the beginning of the draw to bring the coil to working temperature more quickly.
The user can customize the vape to be exactly as they wish.
Youtube is a great resource for education. Once you learn your device and it's functions, most of the information can be applied to other popular devices on the market.
The best way to lean is to just play. So enter CCW mode and adjust the "points" a bit, vape a bit and see how it changes your experience. Rinse, repeat.
