Hi
I'm just 10 days without cigarretes thanks to a eleaf Exceed D19.
During this week I enjoyed vaping more than expected. It's great!
I'm glad to join this community.
Some weeks ago I ordered a new mod to Vapesourcing and they made a mistake and sent me a wrong stuff of less value.
I have sent mails and I'm waiting for a solution.

Best regards

Hello and welcome.

Enjoy the cig free time, it’s so much better without them!

If you stick with vaping, you will see that there’s a lot more to it than different juices/flavors. For example, there are two basic types of vaping: there’s mouth-to-lung (MTL), where you get relatively little vapor, but intensely flavored. With MTL atomizer heads, you have to draw a little harder to fill your mouth with vapor before you inhale, whereas DTL (direct-to-lung) atomizers produce more vapor, which is less intense in flavor and more oxygenated. You can draw on the mouthpiece easily like on a water pipe and directly inhale big clouds of vapor. You should try out both types and see which one you prefer.

Welcome to ECF. Congrats on the switch. After nearly 4 years, I often have the same 'first week feeling'. I started vaping in the afternoon time and that night when I realized I hadn't had or wanted a cigarette for hours, I was just beside myself. In that first week, I was feeling a whole lot better of myself, mostly because of the money I knew I was gonna save and also because I was breathing better and knew that I wasn't polluting my body as much anymore and still getting my 'nic fix'.

    Thanks to both.
As I'm currenty a bit dissapointed with Vapesourcing I'd like to receive recommendations for a new Mod.
There are a lot and I'd like to move quickly to RTAs to make this new hobbie cheaper.

    best regards

I started out with the iStick Pico 75W, and I’m still happy with it after about 6 months of regular use. It’s a non-expensive, compact mod that has quite a lot of features, it’s even better if you install the firmware Arctic Fox on it, that way you can configure it from your PC (Win only). I think a lot of beginners buy the Pico because of its price and versatility. It works with standard 510 pin atomizers (22mm only), it’s usually sold with the Melo 3 head (non rebuildable DTL). Maybe you can find a package without it, it should be cheaper.
I’m using it with the Vandyvape Berserker Mini MTL RTA. It produces great flavor, but it isn’t cheap, the coils aren’t easy to install (compared to my RDA), and unless you get the wicking perfect, it can leak quite a lot.

My RDA is a Geekvape Ammit. So far, I can’t think of a single problem or drawback it has. You will find that both of these (the Berserker and the Ammit) have their own thread with several pages, they seem to be a popular choice.

You’ll find tons of recommendations and reviews here and elsewhere; this is what I have and I’m quite happy with it, but I haven’t much to compare it to.

    Hi
thank you very much for your replies.
I ordered a Vaporesso Polar and got a Vaporesso Cascade One, that it's almost like my Exceed D19.
I have been waiting for 3 weeks to get the wrong mod, and during this time I've ordered some stuff to build my own coils and a new cheap RTA (Serpent Alto Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer). I liked the RTA Reload but was out of stock.
My actual main concern is if I should go to somethink like Voopoo Drag or Vandy Vape Pulse or wismec rx gen3 dual or ...
Not sure, I'm able to vape and would like a mod that will last , not so big and could be customized.
So the Pico only allows 22mm ATOs so will limit my options.

The Pico 25 is an 85w single 18650 that can accommodate up to a 25mm atty. Or for longer battery life you could look into 21700 single battery mods. Pico has one of those as well.

Welcome to ECF and welcome to vaping! That's fantastic. Vapesourcing is an ECF vendor, so if you go to that section of the forum, you might be able to post directly to Verashu (forum supplier) there, that can sometimes speed up the process.

I don't use Vapesourcing personally I know they do a LOT of volume, but there are just too many issues for me.

As far as a mod, it really is going to depend on your wattage and diameter requirements. What you are vaping now is fairly restricted and fairly small, but if you think you might at some point (now or in the future) enjoy a more open, cloudy draw with a lot more vapor, I might suggest getting a two battery external battery mod, there are literally countless to choose from, and you have the advantage of knowing it could power a tank that is more cigarette like in draw, or some larger diameter tanks (of either type). Sone that I have enjoyed that don't break the bank are the Eleaf Invoke (it's super small form factor smaller than some of my single battery mods almost) and it's a nice, basic, but really very nice mod. I'm also partial to Teslacigs as a maker, and I have Geekvape Legend which is huge, but pretty much bombproof that I'm partial to and I also have an Innoken Proteon I like a lot as well. I also like Vapresso overall as a mod maker, and I have a Smoant Cylon I really like. If you want to stick to smaller form factors and single battery mods, there are plenty of good options there too or you could get a larger sick style mod I guess.

As far as a great MTL upgrade, you might want to consider an Innoken Kroma kit, I don't have the kit but those who do seem to like it, and the Innoken Zenith is a really nicely designed, solid well thought out 4 ml MTL tank (comes with coils in 1.6 and 0.8) and I'm recommending it a lot lately because it has good flavor, nice capacity and is also a solid well-built MTL tank and the coils last a long time. Knowing what I know now about MTL tanks, I recommend the Zenith for kind of overall greatness and being easy to operate. There's also the Nautilus 2 (I quit using that tank, although it does have its foibles) and there is also some nice Joytech offerings that will use the CLR coil, which is this kind of magical coil that will fit many tanks. I will admit that some of those tanks I've had problems with getting the coil to read, although I seem to be the main person having that problem, so if you want a really superior vape, well you could get an Ego One Mega V2 tank, but you have to buy the coils separately (the joytech CLR 1.0 coil packs) and they can be rewicked and rebuilt, but they're a pretty fantastic vape. I would consider that a less beginner option but the coils are pretty worth it in terms of vape quality and whatnot.

Finally, you don't have to get ANYTHING as a kit, but if you think you will want to try a DL, more cloudy vape at some point, it's sometimes easier (and cheaper) to buy the mod and tank separately.

The Crown Uwell original is the only sub0hm cloudy vape I really recommend because I am strictly a cigarette like draw person and I recommend the ORIGINAL crown Uwell mainly because I hear such consistently good feedback about coil life and flavor, and it also offers coils in a lot of different options.

Best of luck, welcome and most of all, ,congrats on switching to vaping. I'm sure you'll get tons more recommendations and it may be confusing (or not) but the good news is, you aren't smoking and pretty much any step up will be a step up from your current setup.

I will also note that finding my own "perfect vape" was littered with a few purchasing errors.

If you are interested in RTAs, I'd recommend starting with a single coil option, it's just easier. I am a fan of the Siren V2 for flavor, and the build deck is pretty easy. I also liked my Ares just fine for flavor when I had them, both broke this week one rather reasonably as I dropped it. The other break was less reasonable, I mean I touched the post gently and it detached from the deck. It may be less robust than the Siren although to be fair, people tend to love or hate the Siren V2 for flavor. There's also the Doggystyle clone (has to be purchased as a clone from China, from places like Fasttech etc. as the original is almost impossible to get, that is a very nice flavor RTA as well.

    Best of luck and welcome.
