Hey guys,
So this is gonna sound extremely strange but anyway, Im looking to start using E Cigs to help with cravings and stress, and I would prefer a E Cig that has the regular tobacco flavor as well as the other flavors like Blu or Greensmoke have... however, I've heard bad things about both what E Cig would you guys recommend as the best E Cig. Jsut to state again Im looking for short cig and would like that they sell flavored cartridges as well. Thanks for the help look forward to hearing from you guys.

Welcome to ECF! Let me start by saying "the best" e-cig is pretty much subjective. What would be best for you is going to depend on how much you smoke and how much you're willing to commit to vaping. If you smoke a half a pack to 3/4 of a pack, then you might be happy with either a 510 or a KR808D-1. If you smoke a pack or more then you'd probably be better off with a Riva/eGo type battery. You'll be able to use cartridges or cartomizers and buy juice to refill them from a variety of vendors who offer a wide choice of flavors.

Any of those PV's would probably do the job for a social smoker, however for price you may want to stay clear of the GreenSmoke and Blu. The Volcano and Volcano Magma are a bit pricey as well. I'd recommend the joye 510, but with any smaller battery, you will have to change the batteries more frequently.

I'll tell you from experience to stay away from GreenSmoke. I'm sure there is somebody out there who thinks they're great, but I can say from experience that they're overpriced junk. The only good thing that came out of them was finding this forum, buying a Riva and getting my money back. There are plenty of Blu defenders here, but there are probably just as many who will tell you to skip them, too.

If you're just a social smoker, then you'll probably like the Joye 510. It's an excellent starter kit that won't cost you a fortune. I've heard that Volcano's are good, too. Which one you get depends on how much you want to spend on a start-up kit. Regardless of which one you buy, you'll want to make sure you buy extra atomizers and get plenty of juice with different flavors. Most vendors will have a 0 nicotine option. You can check out VaporBomb or Gourmet Vapor for juices. GV is having a sale right now so if you use the coupon code "gv40" you'll get 40% off your order. Be warned, when they have a sale it might take a few days to get your order because lots of people will be taking advantage of it.

I was very confused and overwhelmed when I found ECF as well, the worst thing is NOT to ask questions. I would stay away from GreenCig, they are basically just Smoking Everywhere products under a different name. There are different ways to vape: Dripping is done with a "drip tip," that you put on the end of an atomizer that screws onto the battery, you drip drops of juice directly into the drip tip and vape it (the easiest way, but not convenient when you're on the go): A cartomizer is a combination of atomizer and cartridge that screws into the battery, they can be prefilled or you can buy juices to fill them yourself and will last about 4-6 hours depending on how heavy you vape (this is the best option for when you are on the go): A kit will come with cartridges and an atomizer, with a cartridge you remove the cartridge filler and fill the cartridge about 3/4 full and then replace the filler and fill the cartridge to the top so that it resembles a slushy, then you put the cartridge on the atomizer and vape. A cartridge last about the equivalent of a cigarette and you need to put more drops on it regularly (this method is the most hassle, but I personally like it)

I strongly recommend the 510 or 510 mega if you must have the look of a traditional ecig. Being only a social smoker this may fulfill your vaping needs. If you feel that you will use it more than just socially I agree with Womanofheart and suggest you go with an eGo/Riva. It does not have the look of a traditional cigarette but is a much better model. Keep in mind that in vaping, for the most part, the more expensive starter kits that resemble analog cigarettes are usually not the best choice.

Here is a review of the 306 Mini
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/joye-306/76808-joye-306-review-compared-kr808d-1-a.html

PG gives a stronger throat hit and VG produces more vapor with less TH, they are not the nic, just what the nic is carried in. For a light social smoker 6mg-12mg of nic should give you the nicotine you need, but some light smokers find they need more than they expected you can also choose to have 0nic in your juice.

For example a 80/20 mix of PG/VG with 0mg juice would give you a strong TH with little vapor and no nicotine; or you could do a 20/80 PG/VG mix that would give you tons of vapor with very little TH and then you could set the nicotine to whatever you strength you choose.
