New Toy - X.Fir E-Fire Kit!

Not sure if this is in the right place to post, so sorry if it isn't. Took my best guess!

A buddy of mine who works in a smoke shop, totally surprised me with a cool gift yesterday! The X.Fir E-Fire carved wooden kit! I charged it, and am using it now. It works great! I love the carved wood with the skull/crossed sword design (this might be the perfect battery mod for Oakland Raider fans), and it feels hefty and solid.

I did have a couple of questions for anyone here who knows of these.

1) Who makes these things? I found a number of resellers, but cannot find a manufacturer site.

2) How exactly is the name of this thing spelled? The brochure calls it an "X.Fir E-Fire", yet the twist button has stamped "X-Fire".

3) My buddy swears this was brand new, since he said they literally just got these into their shop from the seller (not sure who). The brochure, and the reviews I see online all say this is supposed to come with a dual-coil tank. But the tank that came with it is clearly a knock-off of a Kanger Protank 2. Any ideas what's up with that?

I'm certainly not complaining, since free stuff is always cool. And I totally LOVE this thing! Just wondering of anyone else has played with one yet.

I have one! It was awesome until I killed it. Coil short... no fun. Mine's the one with the non-asian style dragon.

1. Really not sure, but I think they're Chinese. I got mine from Smoktek.

2. Also not sure. Tempted to think the brochure is a typo/ misprint because that seems pretty common with Chinese products, but I don't really know for certain.

3. I don't think they're 'new'-- I've had mine for a couple months and there are a couple threads on them floating around here older than that.

Yeah I wouldn't call them brand new. I have seen them before. I bought one for my fiancé because she LOVED the skull design.

ans honestly. it works perfect. its got pretty damn great battery life for a 1000ish mah battery. it outlives the vision spinner II every time.

plus it just looks UTTERLY badass.

and there is a atomizer that is supposed to go on it. didn't get it though

After a little more digging, it appears that Vision is either the maker, or the main distributer. I sent them a message asking about the single coil tank that came with it, and the reply I got was:

"It means that your kit is not a genuine Vision one, because a genuine Vision X.Fir E-Fire Wooden Kit is not with a Kanger tank. It is a dual coil glass tank."

Well, shoot. I mean, not a major biggie, as I already have a genuine Protank 2, and the knock-off that came with the X.Fir seems every bit as good. Of course, I haven't yet tried to use it, and in fact, I gave it to my wife since I already have one. But the battery itself works really well.

Darkly, I did find that tank online. It's pretty cool! Definitely a perfect match for the battery!
