New UltraMax Owner

Hey guys/girls I picked up and UltraMax on the forums last week for $100 shipped with a AW17670 battery.I have been trying to get one of these for a good price for a while because my wife has a real problem with me spending over $100 for a mod when I want it but don't need it because I have others I can vape with.I have been using it now for a few days and I really like this mod.It has good flavor,vapor,and gives me a break from tanks and dripping every couple hits.The only thing I don't like about it is the battery.I wish it was a mm or so bigger in diameter to fit the AW IMR18650.I like to use AW IMR batteries in all my mods because they provide a better vape by holding voltage better under load.Do you guys know if there's a 17670 IMR sold anywhere?For now I am running it on a single AW IMR 16340 with a Ikenvape 1.5 ohm 510 atty.I machined a fake battery from aluminum the size of a 16340 so I can use a single 16340 in the mod.It works great and its hard to believe but it vapes hotter than the 17670.So far I love this mod even though it's not VV like i'm used to.

Congrats on your new ultramax!! I love mine, but had to give it a rest because the finish is getting funky (turning darker).

I use the black with silver & red sticker imr batteries in mine & it goes for quite a long time (over a day) when i used it on the daily.

Congrats on becoming an Alpha owner. I'm glad to hear you are liking it. I have been searching for an IMR 17670 but have had no luck. We are in the process of trying to get one made, but working with China is practically next to impossible. If I hear of anything I will let you know.
