hey,
I started a few weeks back with my very first e-cig.
green smoke is the brand I picked.
and i use red label cartridges with 2.4% nicotine by volume, excluding the ones in the starters pack.
those have the strongest level of nicotine and red label compares the most to normal cigarettes.
the batteries may not be cheap but after surfing the web allot green smoke did get praised the most.
to be honest all the stuff you will only buy ones is not cheap but its in the long run that counts to me.

with normal cigarettes i would hit 60 a day if not 90...
with one red label cartridge (with 2.4% nicotine by volume) I can use it a whole day ,
unless its a very long day ya know.

the throw away cartridges is very handy imo
and the cost of those including shipping costs from UK to Belgium is like less than 1.8 Euro/cartridge
if buy 8 packs at ones (every pack has 5 cartridges)
also had a 15% discount that you could use temporary ; not included in price above (still applies now btw)

I wonder what you all could show me to even consider changing really...
and this may be of help to newcomers to I guess but I can only speak for green smoke
there site > www.greensmoke.co.uk/

Hello & welcome Kotje :) Vapoor eyes er has given you some excellent links, please do check them out.

I really do find it hard to believe that as such a heavy smoker you are only getting through one greensmoke cartridge a day? A prefilled cartomisers only holds a maximum of 1ml of of e-liquid & that is only the equivalent of 10 cigarettes max - not anything like the 60-90 a day you say you smoked.

thanks for that reply in like less than 3 minutes or so

first off I should have mentioned that I wont bother with e-liquids... and i kinda want it as small and handy as possible
as a cigarette of mine almost never leaves my hand ...
also a on and off switch for a e-cig is ridiculous green smoke only goes on when you actually use it and goes out the instant you stop

I have compared allot of different kinds and checked what people think about them.
but my main issue is the daily cost excluding everything you need to start going
I normally smoked 60 to 90 cigarettes a day now with green smoke I spend roughly 1.8 Euro / day
can anyone present me with something that can beat that???

anyway thanks for the link with he big list of vendors ill look into that closely when im bored

ok... this forum was a good choice.

first off ; no i don't work for them

second ; all there cartridges last a bit less as they claim witch is around 30 cigs

third ; as the concentration of nicotine is allot higher that i am used to i smoke allot less and i have to admit the amount of time I smoke is seriously reduced

and to finish is 1.8 Euro or lets say 2 Euro allot for a throw away cartridge that last a day for someone that smokes as much as I

Kotje, if you are serious, then a similar e-cig to the Greensmoke can be bought from many of the good UK vendors for a fraction of the price that Greensmoke charge. Plus you can get prefilled cartomisers for far less.

edited FYI

That's why im here actually,
someone who has experience with another brand and can link me to them.
would even be better if they also tried green smoke before so they can compare them in terms of quality.
But yea, I guess that's a long shot.

Its hard just to go and try another one as so many are worthless and they all cost money witch I don't like to throw away.
surely when the first I picked really is so good imo but yea I know the prices are high compared to others.

It's all good kotje. The Riva I gave the link to is an excellent PV and is identical to the Kgo. Here's a Kgo review

Problem is they're just about to release a variable volt Kgo so I would wait for a price drop IMO.

Thats why im here really someone who has experience with another brand and can link me to them

Had quite a few folk join AAE-C UK that tried Greensmokes & where gutted when they found out they could buy better for so much less.

The vendor i was going to link to that was selling a similar kit to the Grensmoke for £8.99 has sold out at the moment, so off to try & find you a the next best deal.

not really, its a pretty common brand esp in the US (where the majority of this sites users are located). the first ecig i tried was greensmoke though i have never bought one, just used a friends over the span of a weekend. i thought it was okay, nothing great. its probably middle of the road for cig-a-likes then theres a whole other realm of bigger ones and mods and diy stuff. the volt is better and cheaper as far as cig-a-likes but like others were saying, with the amt of cigs you were smoking, you might want to go directly to the bigger badder ones.

I use cartos+ tank and fill my own carto. The cartos last:
dark juice= 1 week
light juice= 2 weeks
I also use rebuildable clearomizers- with proper care I get about 3+ weeks out of each one before I have to replace the wick/ coil (head) which costs about $3.00 and takes about 10 seconds. I DIY my juice so with carto/ tank or clearo + juice I'm spending about $1.50 per week.

Different delivery systems:
atomizer/ atty- an element on to which 3-4 drops of juice is dripped- used for testing new juices.

cartridge/ cart- a container with sponge (filled with juice) that is used with the atty- juice drips on to atty from cart and is vaporized- I believe this is the system you're presently using.

cartomizer/ carto- metal tube with stuffing and element.

carto+tank- a carto with a hole punched in it. Carto is than placed in a glass, metal or plastic tank which is filled with juice- juice saturates carto by way of hole in carto- I sometimes use this system.
Clearomizer- a plastic or metal tank with a wick and element. Contains NO stuffing- I sometimes use this system.

Also understand your present battery/ kit may not have enough power to drive certain delivery systems. Among my PVs. I own a Megalodon with 2400 mah batts and a Kgo 1100 mah- both true 3.7 Volt Pv- 100 mah= 1 hr normal vaping before batts need recharge.

Hi kotje, Welcome to ECF :)
I used Greensmoke when I first started on e cigs, you can refill the cartomizers here is a link that shows you how to do it. You could buy juice and fill them yourself and that will be cheaper than buying new all the time.

How To Refill A Green Smoke Cartridge With E-Liquid Nicotine - YouTube

When I was ready to move to a different e cig I got a KGO like this KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

This has batteries that last me all day. I used these with the KGO EGO Vision clearomizers LR 2.1-2.4ohm

There are newer and better batteries and clearomizers now available but it will give you some idea of what you could get next on your journey with e cigs.
