New user needs HELP!!

Hi Everyone,
I received my super mini two days ago hoping to quit "normal" smoking once and for all. My problem is the cartridges seem to have a funny taste to them and i dont seem to be getting enough of a hit from the nicotine in them even though they are high stength. can anyone please advise me on what i should be buying?

I like my 901. I have not tried a super mini, but they don't get rave reviews around here. I use the 36mg juice primarily - It's been said by some it has a bigger throat hit, and others say the flavoring has as much to do with that as the nic content. I've not tried anything other than vanilla and mint/menthol (and I'm not fond of either) so I really can't say for sure. Read as much as you can on this forum. It's a great place to get info and the whole "feel" for this thing.

I'm down to about 3 normal cigs a day from about 30 - but I'm starting to collect gear and juice in ever increasing amounts!

Still - at 3+ dollars a pack, I'm still saving money.

Maybe someone else could chime in here and help...

Thanks, ive just ordered some 36mg tobacco flavor juice. I hope it works! I bought the 901b also. It arrived today but i didnt like it that much, I seem to get a lot more vape with the super. My husband has taken the 901b to work with him tonight, He is a D.J so i cant wait to find out what kind of a reaction he has had smoking it in the pub. Everyone we have spoke to has never heard of the e-cig!

You might want to try refilling some of your cartridges with some different eliquid. There are loads of different flavours and strengths around and it's an individual thing about what will suit you.

I started out with a supermini and it just didn't do it for me. Your best bet would be a DSE901 mini or a Classic penstyle RN4072. They both have great vapor. Get yourself some e-liquid to refill your carts and a spare atomizer or two and your ready to go.

Lol, it's a bit shocking to realise how much nicotine we're getting sometimes.

I dilute 36mg with glycerine and flavourings and can make it whatever strength suits my habits at the time. Sometimes I vape constantly and just use a low dose and sometimes I want a buzz and go for short bursts of high.

One thing you might find if you use glycerine is that it smooths the flavour too, it takes away some of the harshness (some people like smooth juice and some like harsh with a throat hit). It also takes away some flavour so you might want to add your own food flavours. You can make some pretty yummy mixes fairly cheaply, have a look at the diy eliquid board for more ideas. Your supermini will soon become your friend - but like all good friends time is needed to get to know its quirks. The 50/50 liquid/glucose split works well for me. Stick with it - the alternative (tobacco) is a dying art...

No, I don't add flavourings at this stage. Residual flavour from the cart + the e-liquid flavour (Totally Wicked "Tobacco") seems to do it for me. The sweetness of the glycerine is an added bonus!

The more I vape the more I like strong flavours, I find myself adding more flavourings to my diy mix. Each to their own, hey.

I made myself very sick on rum when I was a teenager trying to get a taste for alcohol. I never did get to like the taste ... not through want of trying.

I'll stick with tastes like coconut, bubblegum, vanilla, etc and leave the alcohol to you folks with more educated palates

'fraid not, nor Malibu or any other nice sounding alcohol. It's the actual alcohol taste that I can't take, it's totally yuk to me.
