It is MUCH better (and no wasting juice) for the FIRST fill, (you don't need a syringe to "top off" but you can easily fill from the bottom up - very important for vg or high vg juices) Once I got over the "needle" part and actually tried it I never looked back.

I don't know if the syringe method is better just different. I personally prefer to just drip along the wall of the carto as I spin it. I don't want to carry around a syringe to refill or top off while on the go. I tried the condom fill method didn't like wasting the extra juice that I would have to blow out from the carto. Just my preferred method.

Hi pghrules :) Did you get some cartomizers yet? It is important to keep the filler material damp with juice. If you continue to vape with dry filler material you will get a burnt/singed taste -you will definitely taste it and you might as well trash that cartomizer because you can't get rid of that taste. If you keep it 'topped off' with juice you will get your money's worth out of it. I no expert on this but I think after extended use(2,3,4 weeks??), the heating coil gets 'gunked up' with whatever is left behind when juice is vaporized. That dirty coil kills most of the flavor and the vape gets more and more bland. Maybe someone can clarify it a bit better for you. Cheers!
