Hi there! My name is Bob and am giving e-cigs a second chance. First try was 2-3 years ago when I bought a Crown 7 and way too many refills as it turned out. Problem was the thing never vaped right from day one, not knowing anything about atomizers and what not it never occured to me that I had just gotten a DOA unit. After a bad experiance with the company just trying to get the thing delivered I just throw the unit into a drawer and just sucked up the loss. Fast forward to when the screws really tightened at work, a three strikes and you're out policy, I knew I had to try something. I tried the nicotine patch but it made me sick plus it did nothing about the tactile experiance I needed. I ran across the Npro at a truckstop and decided to give it chance. It surprized me at how well it vaped, and while the tobacco cart is too sweet the ability to regulate my dose as and when I needed it coupled with the ability to blow smoke rings got my attention. So anyway here I am two weeks later and just received a Blu Cig yesterday and have a 510 and assorted juice due to arrive by monday or tuesday. I think I can learn to like this, I just need to find the kit/juice that is right for me.

Dont feel bad about thhe not so good models. Most ppl start out buying one of those, not knowing any better. But with what you have on the way, you'll have a much better experience. Each unit will take its own getting used to, but I think you'll find your way.
crown 7 is how i found out about e cigs. didnt have money for it then but kinda glad i didnt. keep at it man finding a model and juice that works for you is probably the hardest part of this whole thing, cause there are so many options to choose from. but you picked a good model the 510 is the one of if not the most popular choice for a reason. i have one it is good but didnt work for me. its all trial and error for everyone though. good luck!
I like getting on here ans seeing how many people are going to try to kick cigs. Hang in there, and you'll do it. Just like the above poster says, finding what works for you is the hardest part. Once you get it figured out you're gonna love it. Good luck, and welcome to ecf.

The Blu is ok from what I've heard but spendy. You can get a better kit for a quarter of the price. While you puff on your new Blu, check the forums and see what people are recommending. Some day you'll want to get a better kit.

hahaha I didn't look at the date either... But must agree, blu ciggs are big bucks.
Sore throat is one of the symptoms of quitting cigarettes. Your body will go through some changes trying to expel all the crud we inhaled for 20 years.
