Hello!

My wife and I purchased our kit about 2 weeks ago and love vaping so far. The issue we seem to have is we purchased from a mall kiosk. As I said we love them, but the e-liquid and the cartomizers are a bit pricey at the kiosk. When I asked the gentleman at the kiosk what battery we have I get a mysterious, "I am not sure" answer. If I knew this we could get supplies online much cheaper. The kiosk company is called smok-King. I can post pics of the kit and the battery if anyone could help us identify where we could get cartomizers online.

Thanks in advance!

If he doesn't know what kind of battery he has then he needs to get the boot from you.

Most batteries are either 808 threading or 510. But beware there are many more, just not as popular. Some even use their own proprietary threading so you are forced to buy supplies from them. Start by finding pics on the forum, or searching google images for "808 battery" or "510 battery". Should get you in the ballpark.

These are the best shots we can get. Hope that's enough. If you look real close, there are 2 tiny notches on the top of the battery, one on either side. Thanks for your help! --wogenst

Gosh, that looks like a rebranded 51Trio (bought my first kit at the mall, too). The Trio51 takes 510 cartomizers. You'll want to be sure to get regular resistance, not the LR (low resistance) cartos. The LRs will dischaarge the battery quickly.

Tip: When you take a draw, hold your finger over one of the airholes where the carto meets the battery for a warmer, stronger vape. If it works well for you a tiny piece of tape over the hole works well.

I'm not 100% on your threading. Holding the Trio up to your pic isn't all that accurate :(

I tried searching YouTube for your brand and got 'nuttin.

I made a similar mistake by purchasing a Green Smoke kit and cartridges before finding this forum. It is now my emergency back-up. You may look around in the forums and see if there is anything that catches your eye. I know that it sounds silly to spend more money. But if you find something that is 510 compatible you will save your self money on cartomizers or atomizers. Also by purchasing blank cartomizers you can select from an overwhelming variety of e-liquids. You can now consider what options you really want for your pv. If you are away from home a lot, you may consider more battery or more juice capacity. If you are determined to stay off of the analogs, a back-up is a must.

It can be really hard to tell from a picture because there's no way to really know the exact dimensions & thread specs. But all is not lost - probably.

You should be able to refill the carto's you have while you search for another source or replacements that are more universal. There are lots of videos on what is commonly called the 'condom method' of refilling, or you may be able to pop out the end cap in the mouthpiece and drip new juice directly into the filler.

If they are Smoke51's as has been suggested, it should be possible to get an adapter for a few bucks that will allow you to use your choice of formats for better carto's. That's the boat my wife and I were in with our mall kiosk e-cigs. We took them to a local store that had an adapter, but after looking around for a bit we ended up not even buying that, we bought a couple of eGo-T kits instead for the increased flexibility and battery life.

If it turns out that its actually a 510 thread, you've got it made. There's a ton of stuff available that will fit that.

wogenst, get a couple more posts so you can receive private messages. I have a couple new Boge 510 carto's I can send you to see if they fit before you commit to a big purchase and it turns out to be the wrong hardware. If you want them, shoot me a PM...just click on hairball and then choose private message. The ones I have are still sealed in their little bags they come in from the manufacturer. You'll have to fill them with juice as they are empty/blank.

A couple more threads? I am a bit confused as I am new here.
