I've bought 2 batches of V4L's new premium blank cartomizers & have noticed a definite difference between the 2 & the original blanks. Of the 2 batches of premium blanks 1 set (hard caps) seems to work well & can be refilled @ least once or twice. The newer ones with the rubber mouthpiece plug seem to work OK the 1st time you fill them, but can't be properly refilled at all after that or other wise you either get a burned taste or they constantly spit juice in your mouth. As compared to the original blanks (which appear to have been discontinued by V4L about 1 week after the premium blanks came out) which I could refill 3-4 times with very little change in flavor or vapor production.

Has anyone else noticed this & if so are there any other KR808 blank cartos that someone would suggest?

I don't really have a problem with the premiums and refills, other than sucking juice with the soft caps. I clean by boiling after one use though.

KR808D-1 Cartomizers still has "regular" blanks, his shipping is really fast and the prices are the best I've found so far (without ordering 100), plus he gives free shipping on orders over $15

In addition to the option of original regular cartos as Nilius mentioned, if you would prefer to continue using something like the hard-cap version of those premiums you tried, you may want to check out the ones called 'Turbos' in the VaporNine vendor subforum here. They are closer to the hard-cap premiums (but may differ in some interesting/possibly better ways).

Edit to add: To help reduce possible confusion, a soft-cap version of the V9 Turbo cartos has just come out also, and users will now be discussing whether they still find them to be the same internally as the hard-cap Turbos. They are supposed to be.
