Last night my LT broke but today Santa Mail Man brought me my VAMO!! Question I have is about the VW/VV.. When I set the Watts to 8.5 my volts reset back to 3.0.. When I crank up the volts the watts reset back to 3.0... How do you work this thing? lol With my VV LT I normally crank up the volts when I'm vaping something I like warm like Chocolate Chip cookie then drop the volts down when I'm vaping fruity flavors.. Now do I adjust the wattage the same way I did the volts before? Higher for warmer, lower for cooler or do I still use the Volts for that..

You can use the unit in variable voltage OR variable wattage modes. Pick your mode then pick your watts or volts. What is confusing you is when you are switching between the two modes. When you switch from VV back to VW mode, or vice versa then the unit resets to the lowest setting. If you are vaping at say 8 watts, your unit is automatically calculating the volts based an the resistance of what you have attached to give you those watts. You aren't "checking the volts" in variable wattage mode you're actually changing modes which causes the reset. Hope that makes sense, its a sweet little unit, vape on:)

When you set the unit in RMS, it should show a little W in the right hand corner. If after setting in RMS & it still shows a V it is not in RMS. It is really 001/002 for the diff modes. If you look close at the bottom of what is being called a n, its actually a zero with the bottom missing (defect). In other words, if you put in RMS & there is still a V showing, it is NOT in RMS. Watts will increase in .5 increments. If it does not increase in .5 increments, it is still in VOLTS. That sounds like what you are describing. When I set mine for RMS it stays in VOLTS indicated by the V (defect). Mine is going back.

LOL. I tried editing the mistake with n being a zero but could not edit. It is indeed a n. The rest of my post is correct. Sorry for the brain-fart.

Soory but no, that's not correct. RMS mode can be used with volts and watts. RMS mode is no 2. Sounds like you don't know how to change your pv from volts to watts in RMS mode. Hold both buttons down together - this will change to watts.

Thanks, kiwivap for your kind patience. What threw me was with the first one that really was a defect as verified by OKC, I would just hold one button for ten sec and it would display W without holding both buttons. Even in mode 1 you can hold bot buttons (without switching too RMS)& it will toggle back & forth. This place is invaluable with folks suck as yourself! Thanks again for your kind patience. Man, what a relief. Instead of sending this one back I can order another for back-up.
Keith Tip of the hat to kiwivap!
