I got my VAMO in the mail yesterday. Holy crap, this thing hits! And it's hefty, it's got some serious weight to it. So far so good, it's well built. Anyway, my problem. Everytime I switch either to VW or VV mode, it resets itself to 3.0 V/W. For instance, I'll set my voltage to 4.1, switch over to change my wattage to 5 or 6 and then when I switch back to voltage mode it resets to 3.0 and I have to go back up to 4.1 again. (I know, first world problems) If I just leave it alone it seems like it keeps the settings just fine, it's only when I switch modes. Is this normal and the thing is just quirky?

Yes, normal behavior.

Its normal. If you switch modes from vw to vv, or vice versa, it isn't going to know what new setting you want, so goes to the lowest - which is also the safest for you.
When you use vw it automatically adjust voltage to suit the ohms of your attachment - so in vw you don't have to worry about the voltage.
