New Vamo, VW occasional problem

Just got it today. Performing great on VV mode, RMS. On VW it works great for a few vapes, then i get a mind blowing super burnt holy crap ... just happened vape.

I am using a EVOD bottom feed, pretty much like the Kanger T3. If i use a EGO thread adapter, it doesnt happen.

I have yet to really experiment with my other cartos and such, but when i get settled down i will.

Its just a weird random event that blows my head off. Really odd.

anyone seen similar thing happen?

The Vamo normally ships with it in NO1 mode. It needs to run in NO2. Hold either the up/down voltage adjustment buttons for 10+ seconds and make sure the screen says NO2.

RMS is VW mode, not VV mode. It's much more likely to get the burning problem with VV mode whereas it basically just won't happen in VW/RMS/N02 mode.

I am in NO2 mode, using VW 6.0 - 6.5 watts, doesn't happen with my ego adapter.

NO2 mode is RMS. From my understanding.

Not a dry hit... TONs of vapor burnt flavor. Reproducible at random intervals but nothing definite. When i check ohms its always shows 2.1. I think maybe its registering a higher ohm and hitting me with high voltage randomly. Possibly connection with the ego threads?

That might be the case, but hard to troubleshoot. As you stated, you might have to experiment more with your other cartos. I tried a few bottom cartos and didn't have much success without first rebuilding them. They wicked strange for me, but that doesn't seem to be your case as you state tons of vapor. Are you chain vaping? Might have to slow down. Sorry, so hard to say what to do here.
