Ex Smoker, Ex dipper, and new vaper. Why didnt I find this stuff sooner?

So I've been using an eGo-C twist for the last few months and am ready to upgrade. I've went from the twist with a regular 510 tank to a kanger protank II. There has got to be something better right? Right guys?

I had my mind set on either a provari or an e-vic but my recent visit to my local retailer sold me on going mechanical. So I had to throw the poldiac in the mix. Any suggestions or your pros and cons from experience is much appreciated.

I'd love to drip but the majority of my day is spent driving so I am leaning more towards a genesis style atomizer to go with my new mod.

Watch dripping and driving. It is a distraction. Stick to tanks and or Cartomizers in the car if you are driving to be safe. I saw this as I dripped this morning...on the way to work...but at least I recognize it is bad. I didn't hear you mention a passthrough. If you have not experienced this then go get one....get a 5v2amp car USB charger and use it...if you don't like higher volts/watts there is no use going varivolt just get a nice mechanical with AWIMR liMn batteries

Honestly, a mechanical is not for beginners. You will find that a lot of people will suggest a Provari, but for my first upgrade from an Ego type battery was a Vamo, and for the price and features. . . it can't be beat. Just remember you will have to buy batteries and a charger. I would suggest two AW IMR 18650's and a Nitecore charger. JMHO

Can you tell me a bit more about its features? Vamo has not been one of the mods that was recomended to me.

Also, i was told that mechanical was the better way to go because there was no need to "fiddle" with any settings. What might some difficulties a beginner may have with a mech mod? Thanks in advance.

I started vaping with a VV device. As I gained experience, I tried a mech. To me,, the biggest difference is that the vape changes as the battery discharges. Some people like this. I personally am not a fan. I like my vape to hit just as strong when my batt is at 4v or 3.4v. When my Zen2 gets down to around 3.6v, I have to renew the batt...the vape is just too weak...I can run my VV all the way down to 3.2v...just sayin'...

You got some seriously bad advice. Most advanced vapers get into mechanicals because they like to fiddle. With a mechanical, the voltage of the battery are the voltage that goes to the atomizer (exceptfor the small loss that is unavoidable). To change the power of the vape, you can build a low resistance atomizer, as well as, tinker with the device to get the most out of it.

In a device like the Vamo, Sigelei Zmax, Innokin SVD, you are able to control voltage and wattage. This does sound like it is a lot to mess with. However, with variable wattage, you set it and the device automatically configures the voltage to fire at, so you get the same wattage, regardless of the atomizers resistance. Thus, the variable wattage function of these devices is more of a set it and forget it kind of feature.

Most of the VV/VW devices, users play around with the settings according to taste. They really are pretty simple to use. To boot, they also have more safety features programmed into them, making it less likely that something bad will happen in the case of a short/battery issue.

I started with the Vision Spinner 1300mah and a VIVI Nova tank and Kanger T3 tank all work fine with some easy modifications to the tanks. Recently purchased a Joytech Evic and as soon as I have enough posts I plan on giving someone a good deal on it through the classifieds after only 2191 puffs. I definitely like the VV because I have found that different juices vape differently at different voltages so for me power changes enhances the flavors. Good luck and have fun.

I have to agree, that is bad news bears man. Start out with something regulated purely for safety reasons. My first mod was a Tesla and looking back, it's like training wheels. Had I gotten my Roller first I probably would have blown myself up...definitely would have been an unhappy camper given the number of times I got the "short" message while I was learning to coil a genesis. Food for though I hope.
