Hello everybody,

My name is Danny and I'm completely new to the vaping world.

I started 3 days ago to help me quit smoking. I've been a pack-a-day smoker since I was 16 and it is about time to quit.

All my friends have a VP ranging from ego-c twists to chi you's. After trying about all of them, I decided that I didn't want something too small like a ego-c twist and nothing too crazy like mech. mods that blow out massive amounts of smoke.

I decided on the joyetech Evic + KangerTech Protank II with some OMG E-liquids "..." juice (delicious) from my friends vape shop. Paid about $100 total for everything and I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I've learned a lot from this forum and I hope to continue to do so.

Thank you for reading my intro :)

I very new my self. I just started out with a twist and vivi nova tank. Already ordered your set up a week and a half later. From what I have gathered we won't be disappointed !

I love my set-up so far! The only gripe I have about the Protank II is how easily the mouthpiece comes off though.

Hmm, I don't have my protank2 yet. But if its like my Nova you could possible replace the o-ring with a slight fatter one to get a snug fit

I've been using an eGo C for about 9 months but still smoking at work. I picked up a eRoll a month ago and haven't smoked since. I'd highly recommend it for a great on the go cig-a-like.

That was one of the reasons why I didn't pick up an ego-c. I witnessed too many of my friends smoke those and go back to ciggs cause it "wasn't enough". I think it is because the throat hit is a bit weaker than the other ones that I've tried. I have no idea though haha it's just my guess.

Hahhahah you're right.

I just recently moved to Buena Park a couple months back.

I still consider myself a LA person :)

everyone has their flaws LOL...

You did move to what appears to be the Epicenter of the Vape World as brick and mortars go...

OC has some of the finest vape shops anywhere.

We're also home to the most hotly debated eLiquid too... It's either "the greatest, most unique juice ever created" or "insanely priced at $38/30ml", depending who you talk to. If you get a chance, head down to Five Pawns HQ in Irvine. At the very least, it's an experience... not a vape shop, so much as it is, a Tasting Room. Uniquely OC.

You know, that's actually a really great idea. It does have a very small O-ring and it think it's a too small. The mouthpiece comes off with the slightest pull...

Thanks ClippinWings. Next time I'm in Irvine I'll definitely give that shop a try.

I've been strangely hooked on coffee flavors. Which is strange considering I don't really drink coffee..hahah

Yeah you could go in Lowes and find a good fit or a specialty hardware store that deals with seals and gaskets.

I continued to smoke not because the ego c wasn't enough. I was told that I couldn't use it at work because it appeared suspicious. The type A atty vapes way better than my iSmoka mini BCC but the tanks eventually get messy and the atty gets hot after awhile. I'm thinking about getting the joye ego CC, they claim to be leak proof. I guess we'll see.
