Hi there, I didn't realize that new members had to post a few times here first, so I guess I'll describe my vaping experience for kicks.
I first tried e-cigs a few years ago (Southbeach Smoke), but it was pretty underwhelming. No offense to the aforementioned company, but vapor volume and flavor were lacking and it didn't take the edge off. I guess it had to do with e-cigs being new back then and I'm surprised at the amount of new technology and standards for vaping today.
Recently, I started vaping again with a brand new E-MAX Pro Kit (props to the gentleman bobalex). I'm really happy about the consistent vapor output and battery life compared to my ancient, 1st-gen mini. Assembly and refilling was dead simple and intuitive. I got a free, extra bottle of juice, which I'm grateful for, but the menthol flavor I got doesn't have the same "fresh" taste of real menthol. Instead, it just tastes a bit sugary. I also noticed that the inside of the glass mouthpiece tends to gather condensation, which isn't surprising since it's vapor. I'm a bit paranoid about swallowing e-juice, but I guess tiny amounts aren't as bad as real cigs.
Speaking of analogs, I haven't been able to give them up just yet, although I'm steadily getting used to my e-cig. The additives used to make analogs more addictive than they should be are probably to blame. I guess I'll have to find the holy grail of e-juices in order to make the transition easier.
I've looked at places like Ahlusion Liquids and I'm tempted to try something more of a tobacco flavor. I also plan on going to my local e-cig store to sample some flavors and hope that they have a good, throat-hitting tobacco blend. Both seem good options since they offer 30~ ml for about $16.
Anyways, that's been my experience so far. Thanks for reading!
